Well apparently Cattermole can get away with anything these days,
I would have Moyes. I'd prefer Rodgers. There is something quite sexy about him.

Sunderland created 3 shots on target and scored 3, we did create 8 shots on target with Pants and Pajamas making some saves so maybe not as one sided as you presume, the real test is going to be where both teams are at come the end of the season, on that matter I think that despite the defeat we have substantially more to be optimistic about, oh yeah final point please explain how Cattermole never got booked cause he tried hard enough, still can't work out how his arm across Gini wasn't an infringement.

Try seeing the world in colour instead of b & w and all will be understood. Undoubtedly your narrow 4 man midfield were just passing around Catts and M'Vila with Johnson and Lens hanging out on the wings and not mixing it in midfield.

However tippy tappy football, may give a high possession stat but does to always yield goals. I recall couple of seasons ago Swansea when Rogers was still in charge at Swansea, they passed the ball around loads in their own half (a bit like you, with the ginger turncoat touching the ball several times before a forward pass) and we beat then 2-0 IIRC. Cats unlike Tiote was not dirty and niggled and harried but did not cross the line, your players whinging probably helped his cause as it seemed obvious the instruction was try and get him booked and they tried too blatently to do so., no pen never, arm by his side and your play=er dived. Coco should know thateven in rugby you cannot barge player out of the way without the ball. IMHO however I though the sending off harsh...pen definitely, but not sending off.

I have tbh, watching some of the match back and we should have not 1 but 2 pens! Cattercunts foul and handball combo plus a few mins before Mitro was literally molested by a Sunderland defender from a free kick. It appears the ref sucks fat Sam walrus balls. He should be forced up the massive anus of an elephant, the pachyderm is then dragged to a cliff, arse exposed to the western winds and ref shat back out to a most screaming death. Anything less would be a ****ing traversty.

I think you just have to accept the rough with the smooth decisions wise - **** happens. Obviously it is magnified in a derby but the points lost or gain are exactly the same all said and done. Not a big fan of victim syndrome like you hear from some fans - I think its just excuses for your own short comings. Cattermole at the other just before the incident was as much as a penalty as the one given against us. We obviously got a very raw deal on Sunday, but that happens now and again.

I do think we played you off the park to be honest. We just look a better football team than you. I think we had more than one chance too, but it was more the situations we created and didn't create with our final ball that hurt our chances. It wasn't like Arsenal tippy tappy (which I think is wrong anyway but as an example), we were cutting the other side open, our final ball just lacked a bit of accuracy. In terms of controlling the game and carving you open, we didn't have too much trouble. The problem is that final ball or shot just wasn't there. I mean for example Colback from the edge of the box should be at the very least troubling the keeper, but really at this level hitting the back of the net with that amount of time.

I can't agree you were comfortable with the probing. There were quite a few occasions when we got down the right first half and just didn't deliver the right ball, or in Perez's case, played it too far in front of him/mistimed his run. It was more a case of us just not quite putting the finishing touches to good moves rather than you being comfortable. Kaboul was all over the shop. Coates did ok when he came on though. MItrovic should have done better with the header too and Colo's flying volley was a bit of a sitter, he just didn't connect. I've heard a few Sunderland fans say we only had one chance, but they must have been watching a different game to me.

I agree we were flattered vs Norwich. They had a couple of good chances that if put away its a different game. Decisions wise, well we had a pen at the other end not given. So I think it is a stretch to think the game against Norwich was decided by decisions. We were just better at putting chances away at the right time as both defences floundered.

But Norwich were comfortably better on the ball last weekend but your lot were clinical. We had 3 clear cut chances you had one. We took all of ours. You took none. I don't disagree you were better on the ball but you lacked any penetration. defensively you looked awful. In the final third you looked toothless against a keeper, in the first half, who couldn't have caught a beach ball! That was the difference between the sides. Our back 5 was better than yours. Our attacking threat was better than yours, your midfield looked great on the ball (although Colback still can't play an incisive pass). All about opinions on the pens. We'll never agree on those ones.

Didn't get out of first gear against your rabble. There's no way you have enough quality up front to stay in this division and your defence will always concede plenty. I'd be extremely worried supporting your club at the moment...

    They were god awful yesterday.
Wait till Sam gets them playing total hoofball.
I also saw a lot of pink seats yesterday. One would assume they couldn't sell all of their tickets.
They should have sent Quinny to drag em out of the pubs again. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Just comfortable, then killed the game off at key moments. Pretty professional job in the end, another comfortable win as well, IMO.

They are forever in our shadow on so many levels it's untrue.
I've heard they are even petitioning for their own airport.

    Clutching badly there.
You missed off most pink seats, lowest PL attendances, most managers per year.... Anyone can throw together stats.
Sunderland are an anonymous club on the world stage and your cup final is playing us.
That is what defines a mushroom.

Such triumphant feats there. You'll be putting them on your list to compare?

Our cup final is a cup final, like our recent cup final for example. What have you had to look for in the calendar in recent years?

The delusion is strong with this one. :emoticon-0136-giggl
