How many goals would Ronaldo have scored if he played in Pele's day for Santos and NY Cosmos? I'll start the bidding off at 3,500
Was always a big Tony Yeboah fan. He was way better than Leeds and Hamburg. He should have joined Man U. Did Leeds refuse to sell to you when you were interested Tel?
Clarence Seedorf, 3 champions league winners medals with 3 different teams. Maradona, not popular among us Brits, but what a player who lifted national and club sides to way above their level.
IMO '73 FA Cup winners; Shackleton Clough ,Matthews ,Lofthouse ,Slim Jim ........................Niall Quinn, SKP , Hooliooooooo .....so many - true legends stick in your memories as well - these are true football legends for me
Just for you Terry. Bobby Charlton George Best Bryan Robson (loved watching this fella play) Ryan Giggs
We all have our own opinions of true legends. How many are they ? There really is no answer. I could name a few and again I could leave some out but here we go Pele I don't particularly like his views Puskass De Setefano Eusebio Bobby charlton Maradona I'm sad to say. Christiano ronaldo Messi I'll stick with those
Dont think Messi should be on that list. Not only has he not won any titles with his national team, but he has only ever played (and been tested) for one team. He has got bags of talent, can't deny that, but I dont think he can be classed as legend status. Ronaldo hasn't done much for his national team either, but he has at least proved himself in more than one league, and based on his goals scored for Real, he has a better record in La Liga Messi: 321 Apps and 289 goals Ronaldo: 209 Apps and 232 goals
Ronaldo : Philanthropy Television footage of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami showed an eight-year-old boy survivor named Martunis wearing a No. 7 Portuguese football shirt who was stranded for 19 days after his family was killed. Since 2004, he has contributed his time and finances to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), an organisation with which Barcelona also have a strong association.[326][327] Messi has served as a UNICEF goodwill ambassadorsince his appointment in March 2010, completing his first field mission for the organisation four months later as he travelled to Haiti to bring public awareness to the plight of the country's children in the wake of therecent earthquake.
