I think you may be viewing it in a rather different way to me I saw it and thought "here we go again". Its massively over rating our own players (I'm not saying Vardy is good or bad) and ridiculously putting pressure on him too.
... actually our views on it are not that far removed ... but the 'discussion' potential would have been better coming from you .. ... latest is that Vards is so impressed with Wrighty's article that he may well go all Italian on us and change is name by deed poll to .... Toto Purplepatchi ...... (ooh my sides may well burst )
Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool must shake off fear factor Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp claims the club must collectively shake off the fear which engulfs his side every time things go against them. Reds striker Christian Benteke headed in against Southampton at Anfield to put Klopp on course for his first win. But Saints forward Saido Mane made it 1-1 when he levelled late in the game. "It's only a goal, only a game of football. It's like it's the last thing in your life and we have to calm this down," said 48-year-old Klopp. "I don't understand this pressure but the guys feel it. I hope I'm not the only person in the stadium who thought 'this is not the end of the world'. We can work on this." . Ronald Koeman was pleased with Saints The German, who replaced Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager earlier this month, believes he has seen signs of progression in his players. "I saw development, I saw the next step, but at the end we are disappointed because of the result," added former Borussia Dortmund coach. "The problem is the other teams don't wait for us - they want to win, they want to beat http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34633899
So far so good for me, I'm watching Liverpool play and enjoying it again. I watch pre and post match interviews with interest and like what I'm seeing on the pitch and what I am hearing from the manager. Long way to go and the draws against the Russians and Southampton may well be a little frustrating but you can see the difference already in the way we play. Bournemouth next then.
We are disappointed for the three draws, as you can see, Klopp is sorting out the defence first, though not perfect yet. Good managers build the team from the back. Goals will certainly come. !
Grobbelaar: 'Every single position under threat' Ex Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar says Jurgen Klopp 'needs to sure up the back'. Grobbelaar who won six league titles with Liverpool says he would have loved playing under Klopp and thinks a second goalkeeper to push Simon Mignolet is priority. 100% this! The mrs (nm) moaned at me yesterday because I told her footy was on at 3.30pm (we were shopping and she takes the piss) but then saw it didn't start for ages. Basically, I wanted to see the pre-match stuff including Klopp's interview
... the Press are going tp love this one "The Normal One versus The Special Needs" ... will already be penciled in as the first game on MOTD ..... that despite it really being just another mid to lower table battle ...
Did he write it down? I doubt it. If he did, do they have proof readers? Apparently not. It's one thing ordinary people on a football forum getting these things wrong, but presumably well-paid journalists on one of the world's most venerable news organisations? Bad as the Grauniad. Definitely a FFS, in my book.
