    Same here. I surprised myself by how disappointed I was for them. 3 key players out for an entire season, 1 of them the top scorer, goal getter and revelation. When they came into the PL I thought they'd be relegated because their game just wasn't suited. When I saw them play I began to change my mind. But having 3 of your best players out must be killing them, and the heavy defeats are drawing out their confidence. From this standpoint Eddie Howe will work miracles if he can get them to survive. I really hope they do, but I can't see it happening now.

    It's a foul. The laws of then game state that a direct free kick is given when a player charges an opponent in a careless or reckless manner or used excessive force. He obviously didn't use excessive force and it wasn't reckless but it was careless. He didn't play the ball and he charged the opponent. Red card no but it was a penalty.

    How do you define careless, with regards to a shoulder barge?
    I'm an old'un who was brought up in the era of shoulder to shoulder contact being acceptable, and within the laws of the game, so long as the ball was within touching distance.
    Can't recall if the ball was within touching distance, when the contact was made, but I'm guessing that's not the issue here.
    Does this boil down to individual interpretation by each ref, ie another grey area?

    Wouldn't normally watch Spurs score 5 goals, but I wanted to see what Boruc was up to. He is such a variable keeper...even more variable than usual yesterday. I suppose it comes down to temperament....once it goes wrong, he can't regain his cool. I thought he'd have made a decent back up for us (though accepting he wouldn't want that), but not so sure now. Rather have SKD...because he is capable of better than he played against Leicester. Mind you, it's probably easier to play behind our defence than Bournemouth's (in their 1st PL season).

    Any idea what actually happened? Presume the agent was talking to Arsenal when he shouldn't but doesn't that happen all the time?
