Like I said, you probably think he's MOTM because he got an assist.

That's fair enough - I prefer players to actually be involved in the flow of the game, and not rely on single moments to mask their inefficiencies.

Milners not been great but neither has Firmino, Coutinho this year yet you aren't describing them as awful players?

You mean Firmino who has hardly played, and when he has, it's been in the wrong position?

And Coutinho has been poor and I've said that - difference is, we know he isn't a poor footballer and we have seen some good performances from him earlier on this season. We know how good Coutinho is which is why his current form isn't a concern. Whereas with Milner, his performances are always like this - underwhelming.

Without the assist you lose, so it was a key contribution.

You're the type that is seduced by a bit of fancy footwork and a rabona.

Milner is the type of player that won't look special on a you tube compilation, so he'll not register as making an effective contribution.

I don't think he had a particularly good game yesterday, but he wasn't 'awful' either and was far from your worst performer.

Probably because Moreno just had to pass it when instead he was trying to shoot and hot to ball way too hard.

So it was his fault that you didn't defend a set play properly and allowed Mane to tap in from less than a yard?

    Right oh.....

  8. If that were the case he'd like Lallana!

I do find it amusing that Lallana was scapegoat target number one for months but because he's played well in the last few games the focus is now Milner <laugh>

Milner wasn't great but he wasn't awful either. He did get an important assist but he also took a fair few **** corners (without a good one in sight I should add). He is what he is. He will graft, dig in and show plenty of passion, heart and desire. He's not going to beat players or perform flicks and tricks etc. He is in the side to do the dirty work.

Edit: I should say I'm not moaning here. I criticise people for having scapegoats all the time on here so I can't then complain when people listen and don't criticse a player (aka Lallana) when they don't deserve it.

Ive not seen any good performances from Coutinho this season? And we know Milner is a good player from his time at Vila and City. Both players are just out of form, doesn't mean they at awful though.

Youve obviously not spoken to many City fans who said that he was brilliant for them and who wanted to keep him last year and were gutted to see him go.

They were happy to keep him as a squad player - which is all he is.

  12. Coutinho started the season in fine form, he even got a couple of cracking goals too, but he's certainly gone off the rail lately for some reason.

  13. TBF, he's not great but he's doing a job for the team and we have no better options atm either. That statement could apply to nearly every player we have too though <laugh>

Lallana is a half decent PL footballer. He's like your version of Naismith.

He's doing OK at the minute, but he's never going to set the World on fire.

He's contributed more than that Firmino though........he looks like the Brazilian version <whistle>

Exactly! He's half decent - we don't need half decent players. We need quality!

And you're right - Firmino is awful. Those damn foreigners ...

The fact you're comparing is idiotic given he's hardly played you stupid idiot.

But he's a foreigner who hasn't scored 30 goals in his first 3 games st the club therefore he must be sh*t.

Firstly, I'm beyond ****ing bored with you trying to intimate racism every time I pull your pants down in a debate. Pack it in you daft ****.

Secondly, I asked a perfectly reasonable question, what's he showed so far? The fact that you went so strongly on the offensive gives me my answer though. Thanks anyway x

So you're ok to say I don't like a player because he's British? That'd acceptable?

    You're a hypocrite.

Emre Can & Firmino have created the most clear cut chances for LFC in the PL (2).

Mins per chance created this season for LFC (5+):

    Moreno: 28 mins
    Firmino: 36
    Milner: 42
    Ings: 66
    Benteke: 74

    (Coutinho 1 every 86!)

Lallana not even on the list because he's only created 3 chances.

    Now kindly f*ck off.
