i was more than a bit worried that they could use the bean pole with no prodl . Its great that Flores has shown the players that even if you are trying to displace one of our best players if you keep working hard then anything is poss (apart from dropping troy)

seen the game again, my team here, a modest pub team albeit but we aren´t too shabby, could have beaten Stoke today, they were terrible.
Still, job done and 3 points!!

I'm starting to think that maybe, just maybe, with all the teams playing their worst games against us... maybe not a coincidence. I think we deserve all the credit we can eke out of the media.

Strange that apart from the games against Arsenal and Palace, every other team that has played us has had a bad day according to the pundits. We must be the luckiest team in the PL.

It is amazing - maybe the voodoo didn't work last week. On a brighter note I was pleased to note that Ian Wright and Danny Murphy were complimentary about us. Wright's been in our position and Murphy is one of the more intelligent and objective pundits.

I'm proper fed up with the "worst performance of the season" excuse being rolled out by the oppo every time we have a positive result. However, second half in particular, Stoke were poor. I contend that you only play as well as you're allowed to. We're better than most people are willing to admit.

Congratulations to all the horns that travelled to Stoke. Due to Roy and the entire 188, our support, especially away, is very impressive. Below I have posted comments from Stoke supporters after Saturday's game. I'm sure the shock of our poor vocal support at the Wembley play off final has been the catalyst for this massive improvement.

"From where we were (Family Stand) they were as loud an away support as we've had since we came up in 2008. Very impressed with their noise and range of chants. Totally unexpected."

"Be right they were some of the best, noisiest, and with the best songs, fans we've had for a while. Pissed on Palarse's plastic fans. "

I stayed in Staffordshire for the weekend. The brother of the guy I stayed with is a manure fan and he went to yesterday's bore-draw.

Anyone else notice that the BBC pundits didn't deem Abdi's goal as worthy of a showing during the post highlights discussion? Great work by Iggy to win the ball and lay it off to The Professor and a terrific strike to beat a decent keeper. And people wonder why we moan at the beeb.

They showed Vardy's run-in at least four times.

And Gomez was in Redknapp's team of the week - was he really that busy compared to other keepers? If anyone says he was then I will retract that.
