Hey, everyone kept saying that he needed a goal. He got one against City and now another today. He's flying.
I know some of you doubted that the HurraKane would be back, after a slow start to the season, but I think that we can safely say that, after today's hat-trick, he's back. I'm sure everyone on this board will want to join with me in raising a glass to the HurraKane! Sure, he plays for Spurs, but - just think on this, lads - England needs the HurraKane!
I hope he keeps injury free and plays in Euros as I am going to France for 5 days to get in a couple of England games.
I like Kane, fair play to him. He is the future of our forward line for years to come so we need him firing at Spurs.
In reply to your assessment of our striker may I just say, keep your ****ing hands of you scouse twats!
Haha I don't think he would move to us. I can see you having to fend off United in the near future though. Like when they tried to pinch Shearer multiple times. It reminds me of that. I hope he stays at Spurs.
So all Kane needed was a GK to roll him the ball from 1 yard a few times. That had to be the worst display of GKing I've ever seen from a professional, was Boruc drunk?
Boruc was a top class keeper at Celtic, but he's always been prone to casual mistakes and doesn't seem to learn. He nearly got caught out in other incidents in the spurs match and basically handed Kane a goal on a plate. Good for Kane to get on the score sheet but he'll need to do it against the big clubs if he's going to haul the spuds out of trouble again this season. If Kane does hit some form this season, then as I said Utd will be in for him next summer.
I obviously hope he doesn't leave, but realistically if he is the real deal, one of the big boys ( not necessarily English) will wave a very large cheque under his nose and he'll go unless we match it, which is unlikely!
... funnily enough I have; Spurs, Liverpool or Real Madrid apparently ... wonder which one he'll choose ... what a wonderful story it would be mind, if he really went from non-league Stockbridge Steels to Real Madrid in 4 years ... I'll start writing the screenplay now! ... Daniel Craig to play Vards ... Tommy Lee-Jones as Claudio Ranieri ... Vinnie Jones as Nigel Pearson ... HIAG as the Ostrich ... More realistically, I'm opimistic that we'll hold on to him for at least a couple of seasons ... his best chance of going to the Euros next summer is in a team set-up to play to his strengths and where he is all but guaranteed a starting spot ...
I'm trying to think of a worse GK display, even going back to my Sunday league days I can't think of one. United? lol, LVG probably would, then stick him at RB, but would United have enough money? With the working of the new TV deal the financial advantage the giant clubs have will be greatly reduced. QPR earned more last year coming bottom than United did winning in 2012, and the TV money has gone up again this season, and is going up again next. 'smaller' clubs will no longer need to sell and can hold out for the maximum they can get.
Massimo Tiabi for Utd ? Got to be one of the worst I've seen. But boruc yesterday did his best to hand that game to the spuds. The money in the game will help the smaller clubs get top dollar for their players. To be fair levy has being doing that for the spuds for a while (even if he is a turkey at reinvesting it) but if Utd want Kane, then we all know they will get him.
