You sell your old banger when she seems to be running well and on that basis I would say we should get rid PDQ.
Ah, but you have just put a new gear box in it and it drives like a dream, but in the back of your mind it could still let you down
It's always a pleasure on a quick weekend cruise, but on a cold wet wednesday night will it still purr or just stall?
I think that's why he gets the benefit of the doubt when everyone else is about to give up on him. If it narks Lawrenson a bit then perhaps we should keep him. I like him. I can't help it, even if he does have the odd daft haircut. I love skilled players and he has it in spades.
One good cameo does not make up for years of laziness. The man is a waste of talent who has been sucking the club dry without putting in any effort. Now his (huge) contract is nearly up, he magically starts trying again. Finding it difficult to understand the love-in
This thread is meant as a joke, but I don't think Gaston doesn't try....he has had a lot of injuries and just isn't suitable for the EPL. Talented but fragile. And I suspect the club didn't want to let him go cheap....at least initially, so we are to blame as much as him. He is a lad who accepted a transfer to Hull instead of just sitting on his butt here, but that didn't work out for him. He has never complained, has played for the U21s and willingly turned out when asked...and was obviously truly thrilled that we scored. Sometimes things just don't work out, but he's never caused trouble and seems genuinely liked. I hope he gets the move to Italy that his agent has suggested.
