Be a miracle if they come back from here. Great game plan from the Aussies, even though their scrum which had improved so much doesn't look in great shape here. Perhaps the Argies should have gone back to their old ways instead of running from the first second. I'd like to see Hooper take a few big hits at least.
Game over already? 3 Aussie tries in 30 minutes and Argies with a player in sin bin...... Would be the greatest turn around from here for Argentina to win.....
Good call Nines. I had to step out to convince my neighbours that they really needed the bikes clogging up my garage for their kids (success!) come back and only 7 points in it..... Balls, put the curse on them.
What happens if the scores are level after eighty minutes? I've never seen a knock out match tied. Edit .. Commentators curse strikes again.
Hard luck to Argentina, came up short in the end but they can be so proud of what they have achieved. They have come such a long way in recent years.
Great effort from the Argies, but rather predictably out-classed in the end. Could be a classic final!
The Australian defense will be severely tested by the All Blacks next weekend, but today wasn't a bad test for them as the Argentinians pushed them all the way.....
Woodward very interesting post match, when asked if England could have competed at this level - instant response not with the team we picked, especially at 7, 10 and the centres, we would have lost to all the semi finalists, but we have the players in the premiership to compete. I like it when pundits say what they think. Apparently he is very scathing about the RFU's 'review' set up as well. Personally the sooner Rob Andrew moves on the better for me.
Congratulations Aussie, your lads thoroughly deserved it today and will have my support in the final.
Well done Aussie... a few rather dubious decisions there mate though!!! Sad sin-binning and a forward pass for that try .....................disagree???? But best team won... Can you topple the mighty AllBlacks...I don't think so though
