fair result at the end, as everyone predicted a boring draw .. with city sitting back refusing to play and UTD afraid to attack them. I think overall it is a chance missed beating a weaken side of city. overall we don't deserve to be on top.

When is LVG going to finally realise Rooney is a waste of space these days, as it's so obvious to everyone else. I'm really getting frustrated with this, as we have a promising side this year, but the manager is holding it back from playing well so we can carry Rooney game after game

Shame Valencia got injured as Memphis would have been the obvious final sub. Rooney was decent today, in every department bar scoring, which sort is the point of his role.

I think is better to change the club name to ROONEY UTD... bcz obviously he is bigger than the club and we fkn can't drop him or even replace him during the match ..

5 years ago. This is nothing new. He worked hard today and put a Rooney shift in (lots of effort but no pay off).

So we play a striker for 9 months when he can't hit a barn door until he refinds his form. He can have his dip in form on the bench, and deserves to be dropped the same as any other player who has a dip in form. I don't see why he is seen as undroppable all the time, and is allowed to play through terrible spells of form
