IMHO fair result. City have been winning and scoring for fun .... not a bad point.

I think half a dozen other sides would have opened them up today.

The strikers are doing what Van Gaal wants and has coached. Trouble is it's not a one off, this has been happening for months tbf.

fair result at the end, as everyone predicted a boring draw .. with city sitting back refusing to play and UTD afraid to attack them. I think overall it is a chance missed beating a weaken side of city. overall we don't deserve to be on top.
Rooney is just can't be dropped atm no matter how sh!t he play which is really frustrating
city are the best side in PL so far, and in all honesty i don't think Guardiola would had done a better job ... I don't get that obsession with guardiola tbh , I think he is over rated .. Pellegrini is better than him

Not suprising we can't score when we stick our best striker on the wing, and play an over the hill Scouse twat up front in his place.

When is LVG going to finally realise Rooney is a waste of space these days, as it's so obvious to everyone else. I'm really getting frustrated with this, as we have a promising side this year, but the manager is holding it back from playing well so we can carry Rooney game after game

Good point as going 5 behibd would have been bad.

By fat and without question the better team, the only team who wanted to play football in the second half. City took their most attacking midfielder off for a defender.

We should have won but a point in the grand scheme is very important.

Shame Valencia got injured as Memphis would have been the obvious final sub. Rooney was decent today, in every department bar scoring, which sort is the point of his role.

We didn't have one rubbish play on the pitch. Meanwhile City had 2 £50million wingers and played like Chelsea.

I think is better to change the club name to ROONEY UTD... bcz obviously he is bigger than the club and we fkn can't drop him or even replace him during the match ..

Rooney once went 9 months without scoring.

5 years ago. This is nothing new. He worked hard today and put a Rooney shift in (lots of effort but no pay off).

City came and parked the bus though, so it was always going to be tough for us to create loads.

My god the bollocks being spouted.

Utterly embarrassing. He's out of form, everyone can see it but do you need to talk absolute bullshit.

Dominated the second half, City played like cowards.

So we play a striker for 9 months when he can't hit a barn door until he refinds his form. He can have his dip in form on the bench, and deserves to be dropped the same as any other player who has a dip in form. I don't see why he is seen as undroppable all the time, and is allowed to play through terrible spells of form
