If we are giving pens for that, and I think most Sunderland fans will agree, we will be giving a dozen pens everyweek. The amount of times I have seen the 'easing off the ball' challenges is insane.

Another ref wouldn't have given that but to add a red card as well? Its being a **** for ****'s sake.

Just think. If Johnson gets sent down in February, every single Sunderland fan will have celebrated a convicted *****phile scoring a goal.

I wouldn't expect the mackems to agree (just like we wouldn't in their situation) but most others are saying the same. Even a lot of the mackems are agreeing it was a harsh red though.

Its the new refs coming through. There is something about them that just screams 'I'm a massive ****, please cut me in half with a Katana' about them.

The Football Association's law on impeding an opponent says: " A player who places himself between an opponent and the ball for tactical reasons has not committed an offence as long as the ball is kept within playing distance and the player does not hold off the opponent with his arms or body.

"If the ball is within playing distance, the player may be fairly charged by an opponent."

I totally agree with this. I think a lot of the 'punters' on TV will play it safe and say it was a pen but not a red. However, if the pen hadn't been given those same punters probably wouldn't even have had it as much of a talking point after the game.

No they won't. When he scored against you again, he had yet to be found guilty or innocent. I believe you need to found guilty in this country, yes?

Sunderland moved off the bottom of the Premier League table with their sixth consecutive win over north-east rivals and fellow strugglers Newcastle, who had Fabricio Coloccini sent off.

Adam Johnson's penalty before half-time gave the hosts a well deserved lead, after Coloccini was penalised for a vindictive foul on Steven Fletcher and dismissed.

The furious visitors saw Aleksandar Mitrovic denied by Costel Pantilimon with a feeble stike after good build up play.

But Billy Jones' close-range finish and Fletcher's volley sealed the win.

Sunderland's deserved first-half penalty changed the match, after the Magpies had tippy tapped possession for the opening 45 minutes.

The victory sees Sam Allardyce's men move ahead of Newcastle on goal difference and up two places to third from bottom in the table.

Do you know what accused means? He hasn't been found guilty yet. He could be but he could also not be. But why let that get in the way of things ey.

You need to chill mate and read what I wrote. I said accused. Cheering an accused ***** makes you look like a sick bellend frankly. Would you cheer Saville if he was scoring tapin pens? He was never found guilty in court after all...
