I must be dimwitted OLM as that has gone right over my head. What the hell has Harry Maguire got to do with a sh ite striker.?
If you are going to use my quote then use it in it's entirety Tuck and not 'cherry-pick' a part that suits you. You are that full of sh it - your ears should be flushing handles.
You are absolutely pathetic, Chazz. Chris Chilton was out of his depth in Division One but that is not a reason to denigrate one of Hull City's greatest servants and leading goal scorer. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I know what he was trying to do OLM and it was pathetic. Enough of this, we shall have to agree to disagree as, as usual, it is going nowhere.
Has a hissy fit when someone edits one of his posts, then edits a post to suit his needs. Hypocritical much? Arse.
No, I'm fine with it. I find it funny that you had a hissy fit about it and then did the same thing yourself like the hypocrite you are. Almost as funny as your logic on strikers.
I did that to show your stupid logic on trying to prove a point. My logic on 'strikers' is quite simple - if they don't score goals then they are not 'strikers'' Hernandez is scoring at the rate of over 1 in 2 in the Championship - fantastic. In the Premier League he got 4 from 25 which equates to 6 for the season - not good enough - especially for a 10 million quid man!
We're creating many more chances in this division than we did in the premier league. Don't you think this has any bearing on the fact he scores more goals? Or that he's settled into this country now. This is the type of common sense post that brought you put me on ignore, isn't it Roo?
Your logic is flawed as **** because it focuses purely on stats and not on performance. And even then, you only focus on one single stat, which is the most ridiculous idea possible. I presume you think Akpom had a rubbish game on Saturday because he didn't score? By your logic, he did. The number of players who have had slow starts in the past is quite large. Did you know it took Henry about 10 games to score for Arsenal? By your logic, he must've been ****. If Arsene had the same stupid mind as you, Henry would've been sold after six months. Why not put me on ignore like every other person who has defeated your bullshit logic?
The problem is, you write a player off if he doesn't settle and start banging them in from minute one, so people don't take you seriously. Ronaldo scored 4 in 29 and 5 in 33 in his first two seasons at Man United, if Fergie had followed your logic he wouldn't have persevered with him until he got to scoring 31 in 34. Everything about Hernandez looks better this season, he looks more comfortable on the ball, he looks to be enjoying his football and it's paying dividends.
That is simply not true OLM as I have always given so-called strikers time to settle in and kept saying that 'the jury was out' on Hernandez last season. How the hell can strikers start 'banging them in' from 'minute one', c'mon, and how could anyone judge a player on 1 or 2 games? I will certainly agree with you on Hernandez this season but the bloke wants out and will be gone in January. This is again just my opinion but, like Fraizer Campbell before him, he found that the English Premier League was a different kettle of fish to where he made his name (Italy SerieB I believe). The big difference is that he was up against the finest defenders in the world last season and was well held. Could you tell me how many 'assists' Ronaldo had in those first two seasons at Manchester United when he was still in his teens? He was an outstanding player even though he was still a 'work in progress'. His total in his second season was 9 from 50 in all games, as close to 1 in 5 as you will get, which is outstanding for a 19 year old. By comparison Hernandez got 7 from 28 - 1 in 4 for Palermo but in a much, much lower standard in Italy's second tier.
