Rodgers to Villa?

 

If Moyes or Rodgers want the job, it's no doubt there's (unless they both want the job!).

But if neither want it, then Poyet, Pearson and Harry are all available. The thought though that any of those three might return to the PL does make me shiver - and just when we've finally got rid of Tim.

My big five are all now unemployed. Please keep it that way Villa.

 

At least no one will link Ron to this job.

Drama! Penalty Sunderland and Coloccini is red carded.

 

Isn't the Sunderland kit awful?

 

That was crazy. Was Fletcher even going to get to the ball?

 

Amazed that was a given as a penalty. How many times do you see defenders just shoulder a striker to shield the ball? Never a penalty for me, and even less so a red card: Elliot had the ball in his hands so how was it a goal scoring opportunity?

 

Newcastle were the better team first half.....poor in front of goal and a poor decision by Coloccini has given Sunderland half time lead....should be a good 2nd half.
On the subject of Tim getting sacked.......good didn't like him or his ego.

 

Definite penalty. Red card? Hmmm, not so sure.

 

Whereas for me, the referee has got the decision spot on. Nailed on penalty for me, and yeah probably a red card too.

Coloccini has defended awfully there. Just dreadful.

 

Football is a game of opinions. This shows it. Good stuff.

 

It passed the line between easing a player away shoulder to shoulder and a downright barge. Looked like the latter, so a penalty.

 

Colback looks in trouble here.

 

That penalty was bullshit.

 

It was the right decision.
