    According to SSN, Sherwood's record a Villa was; P 23 W6 D2 L15. Not too difficult to see why he got the tin-tack!

    Really dont undetstand why PL clubs suddenly decide to employ fly by night wide boys as managers instead of ppl who have proved themselves at doing the job. Villa as a club (not the fans) deserve to be where they are.

    I just dont get why, when your club is struggling generally, you'd employ someone like Sherwood with no cedentials at all.

    Lerner comes across as tight git, that's probably why. Sherwood was cheap.

    O'Neill got plenty of money when they nearly got top four. I think Lerner lost quite a bit when the global economy got ****ed and he's been looking to sell ever since.
