The first time I ever heard about Jeremy Kyle was when Gerrez (think it was Gerrez... Maybe luv) was complaining about the Mrs watching "Jeremy ****ing Kyle". I remember wondering who Jeremy and Kyle were. There was someone in the US called Jerry Springer a while back... I can only imagine it's about the same.

I see the Daily Mirror are planning an article this week when two prem players are expected to come out as gay. One is an England international. The Mail reported the story with a picture of Anfield, coincidence or is this why Sturridge is not playing as his mind is elsewhere as he is rumoured to be one of the two. If it is him just wish they would sort it and get on with things it's no big deal nowadays anyway, although opposition fans would have a field day.

Exactly this^. The media are just opportunist ****bags for trying to exploit stuff like this. Do enough people still really care? I'd boycott any rag that sensationalised this except I don't buy such rubbish in the first place. I do hope that if it is Sturridge, our fans make it clear that they are above such prurience and show support for him at the game. And the same for whoever the other player is. FFS, sometimes I feel we make no progress at all.
Apparently the two players in question approached the media in order to "come out" as opposed to the media outing them. It is well known in footballing circles already, according to reports, but that could just be the rags seeing what reaction they get before deciding to name them.
