So where does this leave the club?

I have been watching Wycombe for 45 years, every year through thick and thin. I seem to be in a minority in thinking that the Booker decision could possibly the worst decision in the clubs history, and wonder where we go from here.

There is talk that SH could walk away and put the club in Administration. Not sure why he would throw that all away.
The club could look at redeveloping Adams Park - I think that has already been ruled out.
It is very likely that Wasps will move on.
So what could you do with WWFC?
Ever thought that both might move somewhere else - The Wasps and the (ex Wycombe) Wanderers?
    The next Franchise?

Be careful what you wish for.

I find it incredible that the Adams Park option was discarded as planning permission would not be granted (I think I saw that somewhere) and then they come up with a multi-million Green Belt proposal. Why don't I understand the logic of that?

I agree - I just hope that all parties are adult enough to revisit this decision quickly

Agree. There is no need to move and there is no need to extend. Not much more to say really.

I was referring more to the access, initially. Can't see why they could be seriously considering disrupting green belt at Booker but dismiss providing better access/exit to Adams Park. If they improved the access there would always be the option to expand if/when justified. Whenever Adams Park is on TV the commentators are always very complimentary about the location and set up. Also, the current set up does tend to sway a few signings our way.

    Can't be too bad.

There is only one thing that is constant, and that is change. Said someone once.

Going back to the original questions,
So what could you do with WWFC? Support them ever more.
Ever thought that both might move somewhere else - The Wasps and the (ex Wycombe) Wanderers? Absolutely no chance of that happening, a town of Wycombe's size merits a football team at at least League 1 level. I don't give two tosses about rugby, they can go and play in each other's bedrooms for all I care.
    The next Franchise?
No, for reasons given above, why? Although what happened at Wimbledon/MK was repulsive, the old Wimbledon were in a very different position in being in such a small area where there was a plethora of league clubs.

I don't know what is going to happen - depends of Hayes stays or goes really. He may surprise everyone and stick around, accept the decision with a tip of the hat and carry on trying to doing what he says he wants to do and that's turn us into a bigger club. He might go and leave us in administration (although some don't think that's possible although I'm not very clued up about these things). Either way it's most certainly not the 'end of the world' as some drama queen gasroomer put it. Nor should we be saying RIP Wycombe Wanderers as another said.

I also agree with JS (shock horror part 2) in that there may be some short term pain but it will be in the best interests of the long-term future of this club.

These days it seems that you need to be an accountant and planning consultant just to support a football team:emoticon-0101-sadsm.
That said the ball (odd shaped if your an egg chaser) seems to be back in SH`s court.
