I'm happy with the win but the same problem keeps reoccurring. We need to be ruthless and kill off games.

Why take your foot off the pedal if they're there for the taking? The wastefullness in front of goal is frustrating. Stop giving teams hope of getting back at us.

Other than that, happy we are top of the table. Congrats lads. Hoping for a draw tomorrow between the Mancs.

    Nice result!

Didn't play to our ability but Ozil was magnificent IMO.

Also don't like the Gab and Kos pairing. It's imbalanced and caused us problems.

    TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

Ozil, cazorlo, giroud all played well. Sanchez really needs that rest

Mesut Ozil is just brilliant. The way he moves around the pitch, the way he controls and moves the ball, his passing, his vision. Just sublime.

Also Ramsey does a lot of defensive work that I think we miss when he doesn't play

I think it's one of the big reasons he gets the nod ahead of Oxo who seems to give the ball away too much and in positions where we always seem to get counter attacked.

Ramsey could be a big miss if oxo doesn't step up.

A bit laboured, especially near the end of the 2nd half but with midweek Bayern exertions that was to be expected. Were comfortable but unlucky deflection gave them momentum. Was back and forth in 2nd half till our legs started to give way and they had the upper hand on the breaks but we showed grit to hold on for the 3 points.

Hopefully we play a completely different team on Tuesday in the CC. It won't be an easy game but we should be comfortable in getting a win.

We've got Swansea away next Saturday. That's going to be ridiculously tough. A lot of our players need a rest.

Walcott will more than likely start.

A massively draining week, after a hard-fought victory against one of, if not the, best team in Europe and another tight game 3 days later. I think the players were feeling the full effects of the Bayern game in the second half, as the energy levels dropped dramatically in the last 20 minutes. IMO we needed to make changes before that, but we got away with it.

Lukaku didn't get a sniff, Deuloufeu spent more time complaining and whinging than he did playing football and, although Barkley scored a very fortuitous goal and had a lot of the ball, I never felt like he was really penetrating our defence.

It's strange because we created chances in abundance, mainly in the second half, but it wasn't really a great overall performance from us.

Still - we did enough to get over the line and continued our vein of form, so happy days. <ok>
