there are technically better players on the bench but these two are very much suited to championship football
I hope you were joking Happy, we've scored five and conceded zero with him out of the side, anyone who'd want him back in the side at the moment either has to be pulling our leg or a bit ****ing stupid. As Bo rightly said, Bruce appears to have eventually started to find some balance, took far longer than it should have done. It's showing that were playing as a unit at moment as we arguably had three more skilful central midfielders on the bench than the two that started the game. A massive well done to Jake and Meyler!
Great result. Great week for City- 5 goals, 2 clean sheets. Pity about the Burnley, Derby & Boro results , but Brighton & Reading dropped points so i'm happy. It's tight at the top.
I think Brighton drew. Changes could have been made sooner in the second half perhaps but Birmingham didn't have much cutting edge anyway. Maloney could offer something for us, such as taking corners. Or maybe when Snodgrass comes back he'll do corners.
It's been a good week. I'm hoping that teams will now come to the KC expecting to lose by six but being relieved to only lose by two or three.
