Freekicks are just awful this season. We need to train someone to take them, and to work some routines, instead of just hit and hope.

definitely on this second half performance. i sense that we spend too much time in training doing midfield passing drills and not much else!

I find it a terrible indictment on the team that Bassong is able to be the playmaker out of defence.

West Ham equalised in the last minute against us. I don't think we ever looked like equalising.

What a depressing performance. We are in deep trouble IMO. I'm not sure the defensive changes made much difference - we certainly lost something going forward. Big question marks remain over how vulnerable we are at the back, though I though Ryben was decent

Gotta wonder what's happened. We look meek and scared going into tackles and have no conviction in front of goal.

bournemouth draw and Newcastle win and we are in the drop zone, having had a pretty 'winnable' run of games pass us by. I will be popping down to H and M to buy my new pair of brown trousers early this year methinks...

Forest have helped to make feel a little better in the 95th minutes of their game

Five teams looking like they might be cut adrift already.unfortunately, we're not one of the ones with momentum. We need to find some confidence, because remarkably only Mbokani looked comfortable in the final third.

We can count ourselves as unlucky though - Redmond missed a sitter right in front of the goal, as well as having a good chance saved. We were also up against a very, very well drilled Pulis dullness machine. But we didn't move the defenders out of position enough, not even slightly. And our set pieces were, frankly, shocking.

That is just awful yet again. AN has lost his Mojo and the buzz, motivation and momentum. I really don't know what he can do to turn this around. He hasn't got the players to bring in to change things. Mulumbu is the only player I can think of, that we could bring in and make a difference. That's not going to be the kind of difference we need. AN really has got to show us what he is made of. He's got to pull some serious coaching skills, and motivational skill out of the bag now. I really hope he can do something, not just to stay up (was always gonna be a struggle with our transfer policy) but because I really like him as a manager, He is the style of manager I love us to have. I want him to be here long term, I think he will only improve season on season. Saying that, something has to change, massively. I don't think I can waste another afternoon watching us against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City coming up. At the moment, it looks like these game would make the Newcastle game looks like "a close one"

Thought Bennett was the best of the bunch. Martin kept getting pulled into the centre and that created a hell of a lot of space on the right. That's how Brom scored. I can see us going pointless over the next 4 games. Just don't see what can be changed. Jarvis still looked good but couldn't cross, Redmond didn't seem to know where he was playing. Mbokani put himself about and held the ball up well but overall the service into him was awful. Wes was energetic but even he can't unpick a Pulis defence. Howson started well but was essentially anonymous in the second half. Tettey was the only one that looked like he wanted to win the game.

To me that felt like a Hughton performance. The passing was better and the overall style is more interesting but the same problem of a team just has to have 2 banks of 4 behind the ball and we have no idea how to break them down. We never looked like equalising after conceding, and considering that happened less than a minute into the second half that simply isn't good enough.

On the set-pieces...What's new!? No signs of improvement, which is really worrying as they are full-time footballers...

I thought Jarvis looked good and produced a number of cut-backs and crosses. Nobody looked like getting on to them though.

Good assessment. Can't disagree with any of that at all. We were desperately in need of a Johnson to rile the opposition, or even a Snodgrass to create danger out of nothing.

34 shots in our last two games, and just two goals tells its own story. Too many long range hit and hopes.

I'm on number 3, but there's a 1/4 bottle of wine in the fridge that I think I'm gonna neck. I've got a family meal out tonight, and I need my mood to improve to put up with that!

Looked great again. I was gutted when deadline day was summed up by him on loan. Who ever picked him out deserves a massive pat on the back. He adds to our team brilliantly. I'd like us to sign him permanent.
