I understand what you mean but I can see why people don't come out even if it's nothing to do with embarrassment. You'd soon go crazy if everybody was commenting even supportively about you being straight and you having to endlessly answer questions on it.

charon is an idiot. clearly a lot of people care when they really shouldn't. abuse levels demonstrate that there are still many idiots around that feel threatened by the existence of gay people (and i bet their music collections contain plenty). not to mention the other idiots who get upset for religious reasons.

I don't think religion should be discarded. The views of religions are just as, if not more legitimate than anyone else's.

 

If anyone feels threatened by another person having sex with someone of the same gender then it's their problem to deal with.
