    Well.. What can I say..

The optimist in me says we will lose by 3. The pessimist says we could get smashed for 6.

I can't see us winning unless some other worldly event happens and their entire team gets abducted by aliens.

    Interesting fact.

Manchester city's song the city is ours. Was voted the most ironic chant in football history.. As they, after offering 241 tickets they still had 20,000 empty seats in the stadium for a champions league game.

Interesting fact 2: two of my mates are city fans.. Both are incredibly ****ing annoying.. Both of them are sanctimonious ****wits when they win, both close their Facebook accounts when they lose..

A lot depends on how our exalted manager sends them out.

A simple 'beware, this lot will attack you straight from kick off' wouldn't go amiss. That way we should avoid the Arsenal debacle when it was assumed they'd let us aimlessly pass the ball about for the first half before upping the tempo marginally in the second half.

That went really well, we should strive to avoid a repeat. Oh, and no wingers as full backs please, play a full back there instead.

Other than that, there is no reason at all to fear City. Half their best players are missing for a start. And we're at home for **** sake.

    I predict a 2-1 win. <ok>

Sadly I think the aliens have chosen to abduct the Chelsea and Liverpool team this season.

Probably 3-1 City - don't think they'll lose many of the big games this year.

Blueman likes this. Blueman is hoping for a 4th place finish. Blueman is bewildered.

This is true. We haven't been humped by City for a good 18 months now, you lot have been letting your standards slip.

a draw for me too, they will defend deep given their injuries for main attacking players while we will be just boring attacking slowly
one mistake and the game balance to one side

    City won't defend deep
We will play with a high line as we've done for a long time

    Hart
    Sagna Kompany Mangala Kolorov
    Fernandinho Yaya
    Navas Stirling DeBruyne
    Bony

Be surprised if that's not the line up

    DDG
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneid Carrick
    Mata Herrera Martial
    Rooney

Be surprised if that is the line up

    Really, why?

I'd be amazed if it wasn't, bar Schweinsteiger for Carrick.

He really would be the biggest **** wit to piss about with the team for this game.

I can see Rojo, Depay coming in. Herrera going out. Your mention of Schweinsteiger also a possibility. Fingers crossed though.

IMHO City are the better team. But they have a couple of big injuries and we are at home - hopefully these will close the gap on the day and make it a good game.

PS I don't want to go off topic too much but I have never seen a team win the league and then start so badly next season. 5 losses in 10 games & three sending offs in todays game. I can't quite believe what I'm seeing - Chelsea's collapse is surely unprecedented?

Lol I did read somewhere he would be due a massive payout if they got rid of him. However I thought his pride/arrogance wouldn't have allowed his reputation to take such a battering?
