So, was the Fonz in Happy Days cool or a bit of a weirdo?

If the Fonz is so cool, how come he hangs around with berks like Richie and Ralph? (That was a letter in Viz I should credit)

Beth - Steaknife was the MI5 codename for the informer in the IRA that was in the news recently. It sprung to mind as Swords was on his anti-tout crusade

Sorry, would just like to point out my post was not a dig a you Stroller or for this thread in particular , just the forum in general. I'm finding it all a tad depressing right now that's all. A win will be just the tonic to lift us all:emoticon-0148-yes:, oh and a new manager, chairman, stadium, training facilities....<whistle><laugh>

The quality of threads get worse when we win.
People on here were actually praising Ramsey after a very lucky 1-0 win against Huddersfield. :emoticon-0181-fubar

Thanks Tooting for the explaination...and just so I can solidify my "look really stupid" persona, how is Swordsy using the word "tout" here as in "anti-tout"...To me a Tout, is one of those creatures who buys up the tickets I want and sells them to me at a price I cannot afford.

How is the person who went to the mods therefore a "tout"....is it an Irish expression, or a Kings Road expression.

Tooting please educate an old lady who is not down with the "homies" enough

(Homies:Crowd of friends from the street, ghetto, hood, club, block, or other).

why don't you pm me with your unprovoked vitriol. I never said it wasn't a joke, so who's not the sharpest knife now. Jumping to conclusions again. Go on, I dare you.... pm me......................graham!!
Still waiting for that PM graham.....come on fella, man up.......or will Mohammad have to go to the mountain?

Morning! I'll use the above as indicative of the drivel you were posting on a thread which was meant to be about discussion of a serious issue, where disagreement is fine but disrespect isn't. I was provoked by the inanity, the self absorption, the pointlessness of every single thing you write on here. Usually I ignore it, but not on that thread.

I may be a pretty blunt instrument (I'll let others judge) but the evidence of this site in Swords' IQ test thread is that you are the thickest person on here by some distance. And man, does it show.

"I dare you' 'man up' 'Mohammed to the mountain' - honestly, do you have a mental age equal to your shoe size? Schoolboy threats... like the persistent use of my first name. Bravo, you know it. I know your full name Mark, but I also know you went a bit wobbly when it was used on here, despite the fact that you virtually wrote it in neon letters yourself. So I won't use it.

I am unsure whether you are threatening me personally, or through some kind of sanction via the Mods. Please be clear on this. I don't expect you to be, because you never respond to direct questions, just post more pixel wasting crud. You could have avoided this whole thing by simply stating that your 'reusing Poppies' line was intended as a joke. I may be humourless (again, I'll let others judge), but that is not the point. "I never (sic) said it wasn't a joke" - Jesus Christ, you really are a toddler aren't you?

What is your obsession with being PM'd? Lonely? Lack of one to one contact, even virtual? Sorry, not my problem, I have nothing to say to you via PM that I would not wish to post on here (with apologies to all other posters who will be bored to tears by watching this **** play out) All I am responding to is what you write (the little I see of it) on here, beyond that you don't exist.

Congratulations, you have created a persona on here which is widely, possibly universally, despised. That's some achievement, I'm sure you sit sniggering at the responses you provoke. The thing that binds the diverse characters on here together is QPR, something that you obviously don't care about - results, performances, players, managers mean nothing to you in your docile, pathetic, supine interpretation of support. You are not a QPR fan, do us all a favour and **** off out of here.

    Here's my Waterboy impression:
Beth, if you was as well edumacated as I, or not been drinking the wicked alcohol, you would have not made the mistake of (Me googled this) writing who, when, sober or edumacated people's, would have wrote whom.

Would it be too radical to maybe eat any poster that is naughty?
    Maybe in Vicent Price style?

Burger King Fights McDonald's 'I'm Lovin It' With New 'Heavy Meat' Campaign
please log in to view this image

McDonald's just launched a new campaign with the tagline, "I'm Lovin It." The goal of the campaign, which began overseas and is now running in the American market, is to rekindle the flagging desire of consumers, particularly children, teenagers and younger adults to visit McDonald's restaurants and order mainstay menu items. Not to be outdone, Burger King is trying to stimulate some desire of it's own with a little "bravertising" campaign designed to make sure consumers know Burger King is the place to go when they want a nice heavy piece of meat. Beth, we have eaten like kings, or pigs - helped by being with our Chicago native mates. So had original Chicago deep dish pizza from Pizzeria Uno (I only eat this in Chicago, it's more of a pie than a pizza), truly outstanding steak at the Chicago Chop house and proper Italian at Riccardo's Trattoria. Topped up with proper US breakfasts, the odd burger or muffin, and currently breakfasting on artisan doughnuts from Glazed 'n Infused. Flying home later today.

This is a great city, I would move here in a heart beat.

    Agree
Agree with you entirely Stan, been twice, both times for work...but stayed an extra weekend both times.
Probably the fun-est I have been too (New york, is a lot more scary)

Been to the Chicago chop house too, and also a wonderful seafood place overlooking the lake where we had gumbo and the best Sockeye ever, washed down with some very nice Cakebread Chardonney. Great times
