As it is a BBC survey I would not take it as 100% accurate. In fact the BBC have there own issues when it comes to being overpriced and value for money.

For starters they have destroyed "Top Gear" not to mention the £50m profit from overseas sales of the programme.

It's certainly a misleading use of information, as it doesn't state how many tickets are available at each price, nor suggest what the other options are. Running the figures different ways wouldn't have us at the top of a list.

Some seem to just like the idea of being 'hard done to' and think anyone that's not ranting and frothing about some selective numbers is then the polar opposite.

There's obviously different arrangements at different clubs and that makes a direct comparison difficult, but fact remains that the entry level for an adult wanting to buy a season pass at Hull City is higher than at any other Championship club, or indeed many Premier League clubs.

I don't think the fact that Man City limit their £299 tickets to 5,000 seats is much of an excuse, it we had 2,400 season passes at £250 they may be comparable, but we don't, so they're not.

The average entry price for a season pass price in the Championship is £342.70, the average top price for a season pass price in the Championship is £573.50, our prices are well above average, whatever measure you use and whatever other factors you take into account.

Aye, you've said all that before. Whilst the adult price is high, it's the junior prices that need to be focussed on, as they seem to be the ones dwindling, and more of a cause for concern for the future.

As others have said, you can do anything with figures, but overall, people seem willing to pay even higher prices for away tickets.

While people pay, clubs will charge. In pre KC days, the relative price was much lower, as were attendances, so the model would appear to fall somewhere in between.

Focussing on one element of the price, misses a lot of the other issues that are failing with football from a spectators perspective.
