Apparently Liverpool going a goal down to Rubin Kazan and then only being able to get a goal back after Kazan go down to 10 men... is not a reflection of Klopp... and "he has a lot of work to do"

Maybe a manager who cant beat an 11 man team currently 12th in the russian league...is not the right person to do the work.

To be fair, the greatest manager in the universe couldn't stop Liverpool's defence being a bag of nails. With a lot of holes in it.

And given Norbert needs to start by teaching Can whether to run or pass, he has a hell of a lot of work to do!

He looked a pretty dejected figure after 30 minutes.

I didn't watch the game, who did?

I know from the result however that the Dipper's view will be that they saw positive signs of Klopp's influence. Had they lost it would have been too soon for Klopp to have had any influence, had they won it would have been down to obvious signs of Klopp's unbelievable, this is a special club, influence.

Just read the match report. They were played off the park until the part time team had a man sent off. After that they nicked a draw. Epic.

Check out Lawro's league table (scroll to the bottom of the page). United 8th, Everton 17th with only one win, Liverpool unbeaten in 5th. No bias!

"This will be Jurgen Klopp's first home league game in charge and there will be a different atmosphere at Anfield compared to Thursday's Europa League match"

Surely there will be a much ****ter atmosphere? After all, Thursday was one of dem dere great Yeropean nights at Anfield, lah.

A couple of minutes before kick off there will be a rousing rendition of YNWA, grown men will cry, strangers will hug each other like family, the cathedral will erupt. Then they'll settle back and quietly mutter their way through the game, bemoaning the fact that this wasn't what they signed up to in the 80's, before leaving the cathedral 5 minutes before the final whistle.

Probably kiss of death but i reckon there's enough about Newcastle to finish higher up the table and escape relegation.

I have a growing suspicion MOTD add the commentary to the highlights AFTER the game, to make things sound more dramatic than they are. No way some of those orgasms are happening in real time.
