I take it as an encouraging sign that Sam is promoting from within as he may have seen things that the last two managers were overlooking four our league. If the current form of the development teams is anything to go by he well may be justified. In Bracewell's case maybe we can look to quiet men in football as in the past Fergie always had quiet men at his side in the form of Archie Knox, Walter Smith, Shteeve, Queroz etc. They did not do so badly.
They don't though mate. West Ham for example work out of poto-cabins and their training facilities are strewn across three sites. More teams than ever are upgrading their facilities to obtain category 1 status. but there a plenty who aren't there yet. Not all category 1 teams are the same either. Bolton and ManCity both have have Cat 1 set ups yet Man City blow Bolton out of the water. We've up there with the best in the country fortunately. Big Sam is a man who'll truly appreciate and utilise these facilities.
BSA is getting feet under table now - his attention to details and performance analysis will set us up well and some of the wasters we have will either step up or become very surplus - good times to come -hopefully beginning on Sunday - either a clinical or lucky win

Thats what he needs time not doubts about changes he implements in his backroom staff- we need to have faith in his football experience and the fact he has said that he needs to succeed here to become a candidate for any future England managment opportunity -I think it still rankles with him that he did'nt get the present England job
Yep, and If all goes well we'll out grow him in two to three years. It's important if this happens we remember who got us in that position, remember where we were when he took overs and wish him the very best when he goes his separate ways. A large section of West Ham fans came across extremely ungrateful when Sam left.
