Agreed. The only team to bring a large number of fans "so far" is Huddersfield Town on the opening day when the crowd was 19,361 It should be bigger than that against Birmingham City.
The weird thing was, with Ipswichs fans so quiet, it highlighted our own lack of atmosphere at the moment. At least if Brum bring decent support we might get a bit of atmos.
I dont think this atmosphere thing is gonna change anytime soon This City has never had the passion for its football team that others have got
Steve Bruce called that the best performance of the season. Just coincidence that it was against the worst team to visit the Kc this season. Ipswich were ****, it doesn't automatically mean we were class.
So what are you after then Would you rather us be in 18th playing great football and not getting many points Or where we are? Or would you rather be a Coventry fan
No, I'd rather the team played to it's full potential and the manager worked out a way to ensure our team played to it's best every week. Why would I expect, nor be happy with, any less than that? Why should I be happy with the results if the performances aren't as good as they should be? If we were dominating games and losing, it'd be just as annoying.
Sounds to me like you need a second team. I'd suggest Arsenal or Man C. They can more likely deliver your childish and unrealistic expectations better than us.
Me? Lordy no. We've attracted in recent years a fair few fans who, shall we say, have had other loyalties. One club or no club, that's me. Others seem happy to share their affections around more easily though. Whilst still pretending to be Hull City fans. I know. It's weird.
A sad indictment of how some of our fans think. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect our team to play their best. Even if we lost a game, if they gave everything you couldn't fault them. But we're still nowhere near our best and it's not good enough that we're a quarter of the way through the season and we're still getting going. Watch Derby, Boro, Burnley and even Brighton for an example of how teams attack properly. If you're happy with the way we're playing, might I suggest watching some teams that aren't City to get a better understanding of how to get stuck into teams for 90 minutes instead of 15 minute bursts?
I'll watch them when we play them. When we beat them, I bet you'll still be whining about how we played.
Out of those four only Brighton have scored more goals than us, & that's only the one, so more "goal" than us than "goals". We can't be doing much wrong attacking wise, if that's what you're comparing us to.
It's not whining is it, stop being so resentful of people having an opinion. If we play Derby, draw 1-1 and play ****, you're ****ing right I won't be happy, not with a £50m odd valued squad. How the hell would anybody be happy with the way we're playing at the moment with the squad that we've got?
