Thing is, you'd expect that, or more, of him -given his height. Crouchy was far better with his feet than I was expecting, but not as good with his head as I thought he should have been- notwithstanding the stats. As has been mentioned, he probably never learned to jump when younger because he had no need- but he also seemed to lack power in his neck muscles when he did get his head on it. Though I can't say I was ever quaking in my boots when he played against us, he was a good player overall, and a nice guy with it, it seems. I remember when he played for us a BS mate of mine sent me a team formation graphic with ten donkeys and a giraffe on it.
Just looked up Frankel's 'career' - it was 4 years long - let's hope Rossiter's is somewhat longer but that the comparison to a thoroughbred turns out to be justified
... probably a little sore every morning tbf ... not a bad life is it ... what am I going to do today? ... oh yeah that again "His 2013 stud fee was set at £125,000. In his first season as a stallion he covered 133 mares,"
Shearer 46 headers in 18 years.... Still more prolific than shearer. Also so pretty sure crouch hasn't played top flight for all of those 15 years so it's probably a better ratio than that.
No. You misunderstood. You posted "Go **** yourself". It should have been "Go AND **** yourself", if you don't want to sound like Milk
Way to miss the point. Shearer wasn't 6ft 7" and having balls aimed at his bonce every match ffs. Crouch FOR HIS SIZE had a ten bob head.
