Prefer a win tbh, although I usually would settle for a draw ten mins before kick-off.

Well Bri says he'd prefer the last 5 wins under his belt than the next one (not that you can't do both of course). I just don't see the fire in this that I used to maybe see, both sets of fans seem a little reserved.

Having the 5 under our belt is a good comeback for the inevitable comments from the dark side if we lose. But imagine 6 on the bounce? Mmmmmmm.....

The law of averages is still lurking however.

Soon as we finished last night I was on it. I hate them. Not as much as Liverpool.

I was elated that they won the league instead of Liverpool a couple of years ago. That was a weird concept.

Maybe ust a reservation by both sides not to be as cocky as Toon man considering the current situation. Oh, and I don't hate mags, just find them really really really really really annoying.

I actually dont hate sunderland, if we were both near the top and challenging for things or meeting in finals of cups, then yeah there would be more tension, but both clubs are crap, recently its been more of a pity competition as to who is worse or the more hard done by!

If I could pick three teams to be relegated it would be Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea/man u probably man u, but its hard to pick between the two

    Still bitter?

Cantona was just so much better than all of your players, it was inevitable.

Edit: Good call on Villa though, miserable little club, I'd like to see them go down also.

See I dont think Cantona was better than Shearer tbh, other newcastle players id put in the better than cantona bracket would be

    Beardsley
    Jackie Milburn
    Bryan "Pop" Robson
    Gazza
    Les Ferdinand
    Andy Cole
    Faustino Asprilla
    Laurent Robert
    Hatem Ben arfa
Shola and Sammy ameobi and maybe even Tomi Ameobi

You should stop making suits and take up comedy.

    Shearer <laugh>

Seriously though, your wum levels are weak. If you'd stopped at Les Ferdinand I might have bitten.

your actually annoying me now, Cantona got 64 goals for man u and 131 goals in his whole career, Shearer's record stamps all over that, your just bitter that with all your money you couldnt tempt him over and he turned you down for us.

Bergkamp had more skill in his left foot than cantona and also managed over 100 goals more than cantona

Shearer got over 300 goals both club and country, not 64!

If you'd come at me with Cristiano, maybe just maybe id say yeah, the kids class and his earnt everything his got through grit determination and hard work away from the field. but Cantona give it a rest, fat lump of sh!t

<laugh> and there goes the bottle top!

The reason your ****ty little club have won **** all is because you thought one man could win you everything, so you bought a shower of **** to stand on the pitch with your goalscorer and you all started crying and flapping your bellies around when nothing happened. You watched the boring frispy chopper flop, season after season, you put the likes of Rob Lee out on the pitch to stop the likes of Paul Scholes then started crying when we stuffed you.

Your biggest claim to fame is a victory over us and a victory over a Barcelona team about 75,000 years ago.

Maybe if you assembled something resembling a team instead of ****ing yourselves into Shearer comas you'd possibly have won something!

Cantona wipes the floor with anything you mentioned, technically the most gifted player you've ever seen and don't you ever forget that.

Ben Arfa is probably the most technically gifted player ive ever seen. When fit and full of desire, he could run it round a 11 players and still finish from 30 yards out with his eyes closed.

Rob lee was massively underated, just as David Batty was. Sholes was different class, but cantona, no I wont have that, inconsistant fat lazy
