That's a lovely and generous offer OLM, but I won't be going as long as the Allams still own us. Anyway I'm at a ****ing wedding on Satdee

There's 23 pages and I can only find one mention of top six and I'm not convinced that wasn't tongue in cheek.

No probs, junior's off to watch his hero Bob Dylan singing badly at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday and I'd not got round to inviting anyone else yet. <ok>

I didn't go either. I live in London. From what I've seen live and on highlights this season we seem to be more attacking now than earlier in the season. The strange thing is that I was expecting Diame and Maloney to create the attacking threats.

Bob Dylan is fantastic but he doesn't seem to care when he plays live. He'll never be anywhere near as good as he was in the mid-70s.

    Mick Ronson on guitar above.

****ing hell are you a closet Leeds fan?

What does the past have to do with now?

Forest should be top of the league they've won european trophies.

Once I saw Bob Dylan live and it seemed like he'd hired a band for about £50 a night to play one reggae tune over and over again to his various songs.

Eh? I said they're not a similar club to us because they have a history of top flight football, not that they should be top of the league. Forest arent a similar club to us either.

We have a history of top flight football.

What the **** does it matter? Do you think it means the players will perform better?

I agree. By that logic Coventry, Portsmouth, Swindon, Blackpool, Oldham and Bradford are as good as we are.

I really have no idea what we're talking about now.... Who said anything about players performing better because they have a history of top flight football? Cos I certainly didnt.

What is more important is the fan base. Sunderland and Newcastle get good attendances. I'm not saying always but they do have more people going to their matches both home and away in recent years compared to their league positions.

Gary Monk has just had his odds slashed from 25/1 to 3/1, to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked making him second favourite after Sherwood at 1/2), I'd add him to the list of managers I'd be happy with. I can't believe they'd get rid of him, Chelsea, Norwich, Palace, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Villa and Sunderland have all lost more games than Swansea so far this season.

Isn't the betting on to leave post? Maybe he resigns and Sherwood is sacked and then Monk is appointed after having earlier signed a watertight contract with Villa.

Not as far as I'm aware, the issue just seems to be that they haven't won for six games and have only won two games all season.

They play Villa on Saturday and there's a chance that the loser of that game could be sacked, though I suspect it's far more likely to be Sherwood, than Monk.

McLaren's safe now for a few weeks at least and not even the Mackems would sack Allardyce after so few games.

Alex Neill at Norwich might be under pressure if they continue to slide.
