    Memphis is a dick. Thought he would come on and really go for it.

    The boy is braindead tbh. I keep my fingers crossed someone will coach that out of him.

    I think he's struggling with the pressure. He's got the talent and he's a clever player but he's struggling big time at the minute.

    Sorry folks, but unless City have an absolute mare, I really can't see us containing them or outscoring them. The last 3/4 games just show how much we lack any urgency or ideas at times.

    City with a late winner too. Will be coming into the derby confident.

    Yeh we really should be. We do make things harder than they need to be. TBF their defense was well organised to deal with our lack of ideas in the final third, but they offered fck all going forward.

    You are making very heavy weather of a very easy group, like Chelsea. But we've been pony in all comps

    Can't argue with any of that.

    Rooney needs to be dropped.

    Disagree, our team is a lot better than theirs. We where drawn in a pretty easy group, and we should be looking to win it, and to win the group you need to be winning away games against the weakest sides in the group. Coming 2nd in the group guarenteed a very tough 2nd round tie, which we want to avoid :biggrin:

    We can't win playing with 10 men. We can't win with sentiments. Why is it so easy to sub mata, Memphis, herrera, schweinstergger et al at half time but impossible to sub rooney when it is very obvious he is not playing well. We can't win anything playing without a striker because at the moment rooney is the major problem with the team. We can't win anything playing a better striker on the wing just to accommodate rooney.

    At the moment we have 2 problems.

    1. Rooney
    2. Too many passes without penetration. The second problem can be fixed if we bench rooney or at least take him off when he's not playing well, let better players play.

    We have to beat CSKA and PSV at home in our next 2 games and stay on Wolfsburg's coat tails. Then it comes down to that last game. Winner of that tops the group. We really have made hard work of this tbh <ok>

    I am in a ship in the middle of the carribbean :( I was desperate to follow but only got slow updates from the bbc. So what's the general consensus on the match?

    I get that a draw was a good result? A point in a tight group should not be sniffed at. We just need to win our home games now. We specially need to win the psv match well.

    Rooney it seems had an average game again. I am sure he'll come good. But if his poor form persists it nay be time fir LVG to rest him or play him from the bench.

    Bring on City. We have nothing to fear from them as long as we don't **** up in the first 30 minutes like we did against arsenal.

    <ok>
