That is exactly what I did do...It is not the worst game I have seen recently.....please read what I said.

You are entitled to your view , me to mine...and you should know that the difference between success and failure is a very thin line.

All I am saying there is no need for us all to turn on everyone and everything...

I would say that you’re focus on one game to a time is where you are getting it wrong.

Surely you accept that you cant actually ignore the performances as a whole? Otherwise what circumstances would you sack the manager? If we were top of the league after winning 10 in a row and then turned in the most shambolic performance you’ve ever seen would you sack the manager of course the answer is no

But if you had 9 months of rubbish, the lowest home win percentage of any manager in the clubs history, a team going backwards, players in open revolt and losing all faith (Polter’s tweet last night and also Austins last night where he criticised Ramsey the latest, weird selections and subs that repeatedly fail, a formation that has repeatedly failed. More than 5 months since our last decent performance… eventually there is a straw that breks the camels back.

And just to emphasises. Look at Villa and Sunderland, years of ‘consolidation’, versus, Watford, trigger happy hiring and firing and signing 15 players in the summer. That’s a perfect case study in testing the myth of consolidation. This magical world where we lose our best players, persist with a bad manager and become a better team

Beth, I thought it was a shocking game. I've seen us play some rotten football over the years but last night, against an utterly dreadful Sheffield side, we still really did not look like ever winning the game. Taking into account the opposition, I cannot recall seeing anything worse. It actually did not look like a professional football match, the ball hoofed back and forth by both teams with little apparent control or intent. You are right, were very fortunate not to lose Clint, had he been sent off and we had then subsequently lost the game, I am sure today's posters here would have been baying even more for CR's P45. Even with added, (added?) time at the end of the first half, after the officials decided there would be two minutes and the referee allowed the spectators to suffer what seemed like a further fifteen minutes, both the teams did nothing. I noted that my mother had her hip replaced in less time than it took to get the injured Sheffield player off the pitch at the end of the first half. It really is strange to me that with our team, the whole adds up to so much less than the sum of parts. I can only put this down to management, training and tactics. It is a shame because I think most supporters warmed to and genuinely liked CR and would dearly have loved to see the man succeed.

What we saw all summer was low budget only signings. Don't think funds were made available for anyone much more decent than Polter, when we had Austin, JET and Cox. They haven't been for a decent CB or a decent RB where for me we have a greater need, or for a decent left winger. A lot of people say we have a strong squad. I think we have big holes in these positions which the best Managers going would struggle with without bring given funds to fix.

You're just not listening are you?

Of course you and everyone else is entitled to their opinions regarding Rangers, but as Nines said, it's your continuous bollocks about there being more important things in life than football etc etc.

We ALL realise and acknowledge that there are many, many more important things in life than football/sport etc but you don't have to point that out to everyone every five minutes.

And we are on this forum to chat football ...and so on this forum, it is a very important part of what we are here on this forum for.
I live my real life elsewhere and that takes up 99% of my time ....but on here,(when I have nothing more important to do than be on here, or when I am just prevaricating from doing those more important things ) when I am here, I am here for one reason ....it is the most important thing to me....it is football and my team.

So please lets quit this arguement Aqua

A bit like people repeating themselves every five minutes about how crap QPR are meant to be at the moment, about how CR is a useless manager, etc etc. I know this is a forum about QPR, but like my alleged continual bollocks, there comes a point when enough is enough about the same old qpr topic and people whining and it gets boring. Going over the same old topic over and over again. That's why i spout. what you call bollocks. The same applies whether it's about qpr or not.

    No, no NO!!!!!!!!!!

You're not getting it. You can say how great Rangers are in every post. I can say how crap Rangers are in every post.
What you keep doing is talking down to everyone in a condescending manner by saying that they shouldn't get so worked up about football, as there are more important things in life.
We KNOW THAT. We're here to talk about football.

Are you not getting it or are you simply on the wind up?

Absolutely nailed it Oslo. After years of mind-blowing profligacy we have now been treated to the 'economy' version. Cheap manager, cheap players. Yes, we have three or four Premier players but we have many who are barely Championship quality and an overload of midfielders that just don't blend.

What was the summer 'recruitment' policy all about? If they were expecting Austin, Phillips and Fer to be sold and some of the funds to bring in replacements were they oblivious to what you rightly describe as 'big holes' in the team? These should have been addressed regardless, even through loans.

Every time there is a new 'direction' it's like we're going the wrong way up a one-way street. Last night was just another abysmal and disheartening display. There has been absolutely nothing to suggest we are improving as a unit, which is the most important facet of being a team. Too many sub-standard individual performances and no guile or subtlety in our play. It's just so depressing...

And when people do this without any reasoning or simply repeating exactly the same, they are also boring, even when and if right.
Mate, it's a forum, it's QPR, we're crap considering the amount of money thrown at this thing - we're not crap if your Huddersfield Town and have a player on 725 quid a week - but that's not even the point -
It's a forum so requires some form of entertainment and means that we have to take our "editorial boring shoes" off once in a while - and of course as long as it's just an inch from the House rules - and sometimes just a tad over.

We really if honest don't want to agree on anything with certain posters we picture, want to be enlightened by some we like even though haven't met, and amused by even the likes of BBH, yes BBH, who in my mind is either a Neanderthal bricklayer from South Kilburn estate or a dentist living in Parson's Green. It doesn't matter, the only thing that does though, is the most important rule that's not in the house rules - Don't allow yourself to be or get boring.

Come on mate - try it, just a couple of times, or maybe just the once, come on baby, it wont hurt, I promise.

Just thought -Could the above be classed as grooming?

Come on my crap RRRRs, come on my crap RRRRRs - we still love ya!!

Smileys everyone - I'm just finishing work and going out drinking with some Norwegian clients who just simply go mad due to our fantastic bar prices - imagine, we only charge 8 quid a pint!!! And 10 for a delightful Espresso Martini now you give me the positive on that one Waterboy!!

You will if you use a tiny percent of your 30 grand a week to get hypnosis or counselling to drown that out and accept its up to you to turn the frowns upside down.

I'm serious. How many working men that you're addressing that to are on 30 fukking grand a week?

I'm no recent supporter - in fact I've been an R ever since John Hollins came to my junior school to give us some (much needed) coaching near 40 years ago, and have been a season ticket holder for 25 of those years. And over the last 15 seasons I've missed an average of fewer than 5 matches a season, home and away

So I've paid my money and am more than entitled to my views

As of course is anyone, regardless of whether they go to matches or not. A message board without differences of view would be very dull indeed

Look mate you might as well be talking to the wall with some of these folks. I listened to Watford talking about hating the PL cos we was sh1t and looking forward to this thing they call the Ch'ship because he was getting "real football" back apparently but when I watched my first game this season against Cardiff I literally went into the bathroom at half time and threw up. Even though we was losing every week in the Prem at least we looked like a professional team. In this disgusting affront to football (SBC) we look 10 times worse because now we're playing other dreadful teams & can't even beat them!

Watford can go to Birmingham and other sh1t holes, eat as many Pukkas as he can squeeze into his gut and dream about being amongst proper football Geezers all he wants but he should never tell people we're better off in this hellhole

I don't buy the argument that we're a crap team and shouldn't be expecting any better.

The wage bill and simply the team on paper should be capable of competing with and beating most in this league. How many Birmingham or Sheffield Wednesday players would get in our side? Not many, yet both have comfortably at least matched us.

Most clubs in this league could only dream of having players of the supposed calibre and pedigree of Green, Onuoha, Angella, Fer, Phillips, Sandro and Austin. The problem is we don't get anything like the best out of them and haven't for several years.

I still don't understand what was good about watching Bosingwa, Ferdinand and the like getting routinely tonked and playing like ****s.

The last few weeks have been pretty **** but there have at least been some entertaining games this season. I don't go to as many games as in previous years but at least you can go to an away game now, spending a lot of money in the process, knowing the team might actually try to win which anyone at games like Spurs last season will know wasn't the case before.
