You're still banging on about Rooney? You seem fixated on the guy. Personally I'm not much of a fan. I suspect however that his career will prove to be more successful than Varadona's. They're pretty close in age!
Rooney was a very good player. Just peaked in about 5 or 6 years ago in his early 20's which is odd. He has gradually got worse with age.
Rooney is a weird one, he doesn't have good games just great or total ****, unfortunately the great ones are not very often these days.
