I'm unsure of the punctuation in my last post and would like help in deciding if I need to delete the comma between he and himself? Thanks for any help.
Ooooh nice swerve ... I'll take that as a couple of televised internationals when he has been played out of position and possibly once against United then .. I saw my first Leicester game in the 1969 / 70 season; so have seen enough dross and false dawns over the years to mark me down as anything BUT a 'reactionary' fan ... I'll simply call it as I see it and support the club whatever league they are playing in as I've always done ... Vardy's goals may dry-up - that happens to players - but it is most unlikely that his work rate, effort and commitment will drop off (barring injury) ... and because of that - coupled with our rather modest ambitions - i.e unlike some supporters we are not under the delusion that our club should always win something - he won't have me (nor the vast majority of our fans) on his back ...
So you're a bit younger than me then ... must say it comes through in your posting - you are one of the least reactionary fans I've encountered on here. For all the banter back and forth about Vardy, really hope he sustains his form to keep you in the prem, it's refreshing having someone else to talk about
I agree 100%. If the so called Champions League consisted of just the champions of the leagues then your stats might mean something.
This is why ibe has stalled in his development, it's like half "50cent" and half "grinder" (you know what grinder is don't lie) Someone send these pics to JK so he can slap him silly.
Your getting better...ur last comment was 1 goal in 3 games now 5 games but I'll stick by the figures on soccer base site! Vardy 30 + per season, I wish lol I mean we only paid a million & even I realise you ain't gonna get a Ballotelli,Borini or Lambert goal machine for that ridiculously low fee
Managers of Prem teams promote youth players based on their performances in youth league's. So can't see your problem with Vardy's step up, yeah he made the grade later in his career than most but on the evidence so far he was well worth Leicester's faith in signing him.
2 goals in 6 games is what we all call a 1 in 3 strike rate .. no? You stick to soccer base [btw one of the 7 games on soccerbase was for Belgium] I will stick to match days Fees, schmees -
On the money PMK ... In terms of value for money this is an eye opener: - Jamie Vardy - Premier appearences 43 - goals 14 - cost £1 million Ashley Young - Premier appearences 273 - goals 43 cost £15-20 million (just United - another £8m if you add in what Villa paid) .... and don't even think about wages ... now one of them is undoubtedly Premiership class and deserving of International caps ....
Would be interesting to see how Vardy gets on a bigger club where expectations are a lot higher and there is pressure to deliver every week. This is where majority of lower league players fail.
I know - amazing after the year he's had, he's still at a decent club like Milan. And Vardy is still at Leicester.
I'd agree - the point I made about him playing for England earlier is moot on that front - he seems in awe of those around him - like a little boy lost moving between infants and junior school was similar when he first started playing for us - but now he's the 'cock of the yard' and is leading by example ... hopefully it continues for a couple of seasons - very few strikers I'd want to swap him for right now tbf... although Douglas Costa might be one after last night
