I made that mistake, and I regret it.

I was telling that old joke, last week, in a pub - what to you do when you find an epileptic in a bath? the answer to which is: throw in your washing - when a bloke tapped me on the shoulder and said,

He's footballs version of Steve Austin (bionic not stone cold) Footballer. A man barely alive. We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster.

 

Actually, he's been a bit of a revelation. Nothing sophisticated about him, but he works tirelessly and if he gets sight of goal, he just shoots.

Seems to be working.....so far!...

 

That's down to the improvement in his shooting technique, he'll get a shed load throughout the season. @Stan agrees with me.
