Good Morning Everyone, LeedsFansUTD issued the following statement yesterday regarding our beloved crazy nut job of an owner's decision to limit travelling Leeds fans to just 2000 tickets :- Both Leeds United and Leeds Fans Utd are in agreement that the club is being treated unfairly by Sky and the Football League, and will be working together to come up with a mutually beneficial solution that ensures supporters are no longer being unfairly penalised by fixture changes. United Chairman, Massimo Cellino, said: “We are frustrated by the fixture changes but we never intended to penalise our own supporters at away games – we have listened to their concerns and acted on them. We also considered their safety as we understood that many would attempt to buy tickets in home areas. We will now work with the fans to find a peaceful way that shows our disappointment without taking something away from them. That will be crucial if we are to achieve what we need to.” Dylan Thwaites, Chief Executive of Leeds Fans Utd, said: “We look forward to partnering with Massimo and the club to make this work for everyone. Our away support is second to none for their commitment to following the team all over the country. We hear the frustrations from supporters who have to miss games or pay extra money because of amended fixtures. We will all work together to come up with a solution that works for everyone.” Following discussions today between the two parties it has been agreed that the 2000 tickets restriction for away supporters will be lifted with immediate effect. The club maintains its position that it can determine the number of tickets that can be sold to its supporters for away games. Thoughts? The noises coming out of the club are saying that players like Mowatt and Byram will flourish under Evans. Morning all. I had to laugh when reading about Cellinos u turn on tickets and no mention of LUST. They really have dissappeared up their own arses when they're not even able to claim the slightest credit for the move. As for Evans, I'm not bothering with anything he has to say. Don't believe he has a prayer, but hey, if he flukes a couple of wins to keep us away from the relegation zone, that'll have to do. He could be sacked after tonight though
Lets hope big mouth big gut Evans is as good as his word and wins games because that's what he'll be judged on. Maybe Byram was playing within himself because he wanted out, and now he's been told he aint going anywhere he may have pulled his socks up.
Good morning troops. Who are Leeds Fans United? How is their spokesperson Dylan Thwaites getting fans opinions? Is anybody here a member of this organisation? Had anyone ever heard of them before yesterday? How do you join? What is their set up? Is DW on twitter, do I need to rejoin and explain to him as I did to the Steve Evans lookie likie that no one person can speak for our fanbase? We all know that madman would only get into bed with a fans group that was broadly in support of him. The last thing this club needs is a group of wanabe board members sucking up to Cellino because it makes them feel important........ NEVER IN MY NAME!
