Surely you buy a player for £20m and you want to play and develop him in a position where he's best suited?

Lol! Just because Flanno is on the front foot doesn't mean I should automatically like him. Lovren also plays like that - does that mean he's the best thing since sliced bread?

And I took his comment about Flanno is better at tackling on the front foot than Sakho as a joke to wind me up. Because no one in their right mind can genuinely believe that.

Gotta look at you pushing Wisdom into the team as similar though Jimmy he's not looked good enough at all.

He's not better than Gomez and Ilori but still a solid option at right back or centre back. He also has pace which is crucial for young defenders because they will make mistakes but at least they have pace to get back and recover.

I watched him at WBA before he was dropped and he really isn't anything special going forward or defending, he'll be moved on.

To be fair, he's not a full back so attacking won't in his nature.

  8. You missed the point Jimmy. He claimed he never played in his position, yet he never claimed (earnt / cemented) a position whilst at the club. It's a bit pedantic of me tbf but he should have said he never got a chance in his preferred role. whatever that position was, it was never his whilst he was at Anfield.

  10. But Wisdom isn't scouse and hasn't got a 'dribbled passed' stat that makes him the worst player ever like :bandit:

That's not up to the player though. As a player the club pays you massive amounts of money to kick a ball around a grassy field. So far he's been played in a variety of positions none of which he's looked particularly effective in. What exactly gives Marko the right to come in to a new club and "demand" a position? How about earning the right to be considered for it first <ok>

If Klopp asks a player to play in an unfamiliar position will it be acceptable for that player to turn around and say "Ok boss but as that's not MY position I'm going to have a bit of a sulk then I'll play at 50% because I'm not willing enough (or good enough) to adapt"??

Sorry Jimmy, I agree with most of the time with you but this time you're talking out your arse <laugh> You don't like Flanagan but rate Wisdom? Wisdom has been bang average for the last two seasons.

  13. Exactly <applause>

As i said above, I know what he meant but the wording makes him sound like an arrogant ****.

Don't particularly rate wisdom all that highly but he can play right back or centre back, and is better physically.

But why buy a wide attacking midfield and play him wing back in the first place?

You say he's got to earn it - how can he earn it when he's criticised for failing in a position that he's never played in before? Same with Firmino - some people writing him off because he's performed poorly when he's been playing as a winger.

  16. Flanno can play two positions too, is CB rather than LB better then?

Haha so being the most dribbled past defender in the league that season is obviously a plus point for Flanno.

  18. Playing "out of position" shouldn't mean you can't do the basics. You should still be able to control and pass a football as well as work for yourself and the team!
