I think its just that I am to far out from the city. Folsom might be the closest place with an adult league.

You either dreamt that, or made it up.

we were in the left hand side of the stand opposite where the players came out - the police lost all control - there was a mass pitch invasion at the start when Terry Neil came out into the centre circle and they all got on their knees and bowed as if bowing to Mecca - fans were jumping on car roofs around the ground, many had glitter stuck to their faces and doc marts sprayed gold - the police got pelted with batteries and the like for most of the match and I remember the front page headlines in the Sun on the Monday morning in big capitals ' Hull City's Golden Glitter Boot Boys' - the match was ****, so some things never change

    Roberto Di Matteo and yes.

We've been playing rubbish football for almost two years, you think that's okay, others don't. It was a great result last night, but it was a terrible first half performance and Ipswich were terrible, we'll need to be far better than that to get anything on Saturday.

I remember Stockport away in the cup, too. It was hand to hand fighting between City fans and the police. The police were just happy to keep us behind the steel bars keeping us from the rest of the spectators in the stand. Maybe we can have the same thing at Brentford where we can stand?

Allardyce has gone to Sunderland. I don't fancy Brendan Rodgers - he seems too much like Steve Bruce. I don't think we'll get Ancelotti. We can't wait for Guardiola to leave Bayern. So who else realistically is an improvement?

A game against Stockport I remember was when we won something like 7-1. Just checking it was actually 7-0.

He's out of work and he used to manage MK Dons. Why did Steve Bruce come to Hull City?

Steve Bruce hadn't managed Chelsea and Schalke. RDM will have much better offers.

Taking Sunderland to 10th is a better achievement than taking Schalke to 6th.

You may well be right that he's not interested but he is out of work and I think a club that is paying Steve Bruce what he's on now wont have any difficulty paying more than what Schalke paid him.

You mean the club that's paying Bruce, in his own words, the salary he was earning in the 80s?

Because he's unemployed, lives in England and is looking for a new challenge.

Junior scores first goal in 5 years and I'm supposed to be seething - I'm delighted we won and who cares who scores - it's a win - hopefully Davies is back before too long because McGuire is not really up to it and whatever I think about Junior's skills or otherwise, he's a sick note waiting to happen and giving Macca away will come back to haunt us
