I think as the season moves onwards past Christmas and towards the 'business end', City will be exactly where we need them to be. We have nothing to fear from any of the teams in this division, but as the months go on the odd dud of a performance will occur. Of course, whilst we would all prefer our team to be a scintillating world beating outfit who passes and attacks teams to death, we should be grateful that, for the time being, we are doing generally well enough to ultimately achieve what we want this season.

Also, what I am experiencing at the moment is a stratosphere away from some of my experiences in the early 1980s in the old Fourth Division, particularly a match against Stockport County that ended 0-0 in April 1982. Just over 3,500 fans were definitely not entertained that Tuesday evening! So, great win over Ipswich and chin up chaps.
