Our back 5 today were different level. Absolutely dealt with Bayern. Lewandowski was kept completely quiet and out of the game and for all costas tricks we dealt with anything into the box easily. Kosc and mert cleared everything up and monreal was really solid, he is a really good defender, for the price we paid he is such a good signing by wenger. And bellerin.... I don't even have words to express how brilliant he is. I've been waiting to see bellerin and toral ever since we signed them from Barca and bellerin is having a start to his career with arsenals first team like he is the second comming of fabregas.
Lewandowski was kept really quite wasn't he? But I suppose that's what happens when you play an out of form striker like him instead of an on form striker like giroud!
And ozil is a ****ing boss. Rival fans can talk rubbish about him as much as they like, he is an absolute joy to watch. It's been years since I ended watching a player at Arsenal as much as I enjoy watching Ozil.

We beat Chelsea in the community shield, Utd in the League and Bayern in the Chamions League. Not a bad haul of results against the big teams.
