1-0 Preston, and sounds like it's all them at the moment. This is actually so bad it's almost funny.

2-0 now, the most embarrassing thing is their two top scorers from last season are both injured!

An embarrassing shambolic first half. Boo's ringing out from the stadium, where a bewildered Luzon now delivers his broken English half time prep talk... "Don't worry guys, I've got no pressure on me!"

Some gallows humour for you all. Does anyone remember when the fixtures came out, and all sorts of people on here were saying we'd be lucky to get a point in august. Well imagine if they'd only known it would be our best points haul in a month all season!

Then there's my pre match post that if we lose tonight, I'll be furious but my fury is for the owners. And then GL serves up a team with three left backs.... Honestly, you could'nt make it up !

    I'm done. Doesn't help I'm with a Preston mate.

Fans chanted for Luzon out. I was in the west and heard. Luzon and meire definitely would.

Lennon gets last minute winner for 10-man Gillingham to keep them top after Josh Wright was red-carded.

I'm off to bed. But, and it's a big but. We all know the score. Luzón gets the sack tomorrow morning (crap line up, bad tactics etc etc). Now given the way Luzón was appointed, who on here thinks we'll get a satisfactory replacement. And the squad problems are perennial, it won't change (though we have our january targets lined up....ha ha ha). Tonight was rubbish online. It must have been worse if you paid. But sacking the manager just keeps up the RD Shuffle. Another unknown comes in, the injury crisis eases a bit and we get a few results. Then idiots like me are happy again and it all grinds on till next summer. I agreed with Dick P in the summer. Give the players ten games to prove their worth. Some of the better ones have been injured, but the squad is demonstrably crap.
Okay, lets sack GL. But really, what will that solve. The problems lie with our millionaire owner and his scatter-cash approach.

That sounded like it was awful. Even if they sack Luzon what difference will it make? What proven manager would want to be working under the current owner? What players will want to come to a club in the obvious crisis we are in?

The problem is right at the top and until that changes we are in trouble. Not as disillusioned by the result as I am by the thought of where this club will be in a couple of years time.

I'm going to do the quintessential British thing. Have a cup of Earl Grey and write a strongly worded passive-aggressive letter, followed up by a leaflet campaign.

What we really needed too was Boris Johnson to rugby tackle Luzon.

Like Andy & Ken say above... Sacking Luzon won't solve anything. However, I still think he'll be sacked before noon tomorrow.

I am absolutely losing the will to follow Charlton. I've been going since my old man took me as a 7 year old back in 1987 at Selhurst Park, that's 28 years...

I was praying for the ref not to add any time on tonight, as I just wanted to get home to the warmth of my house. The second half seemed to last an eternity - you would only normally say that when you are clinging on to a 1-0 lead against a good opposition, not when you are 0-3 down to a very average side.

First time I have heard the covered end sing 'we're f****** s***'. Luzon got the 'you're getting sacked in the morning' chants. And the majority of players got booed off along with a chorus of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'.

This was possibly worse than when Pardew got sacked after the 2-5 home defeat to Sheff United.

I don't think I can be ar*ed to attend on Saturday. Luzon or no Luzon.

Just back from the game, an absolute scandal. This was Preston who had only scored seven goals all Season. Pathetic, no show from the players. A few of them didn't seem interested. Pathetic team selection from Luzon. I have run out of adjectives to describe that shower of ****e.
    MEIRE OUT, Belgian Out.
I think I will stop now. Apathy has taken over.

This was as bad as anything I've seen, right up there with Wycombe, Barnsley and Sheffield Utd. The score could have been worse too. I don't think we won a 50/50 all night. It was the first time for many years that I've left before the end, it was that bad. To produce such a stinking display as that there has to be something deeply wrong at our club.

Utterly deflated. Sack Luzon if you like, it won't make any difference. Sack the whole Belgian circus and we may have a chance.
The first time in 47 years I've left a home game with 15 minutes to play.
