It's going to be ****ing ace.

Also... JJ Abrams, you ****ing bastard. All I wanted was one FRAME of Luke. One! And you still won't give us it. I know I'll be happy that you did make us wait in 2 months time, but right now I'm a tad miffed.

I'd never seen a Star Wars film until the other week, tried watching one with the intention of catching up before this movie came out but it was absolutely dire, I barely made it past the first half an hour.

Now having seen the trailer it makes me want to try again because the new one actually looks pretty good, but I'm guessing I won't have a clue what's going on without watching the others first.

You started with the prequels, didn't you.

You idiot. Don't watch them. If you do, watch them in 'Machete' order. (Look it up if confused)

Started with Episode IV, from what I've been told I don't think I would have made it through 10 minutes of the prequels never mind half an hour.

To be fair I think it's a nostalgia thing. I love the original trilogy but if I watched it now for the first time in my late 30s I'm pretty sure I'd think it was a bag of ****.

I loved the orginals and did quite like the prequels (not episode 1 though) and am massively looking forward to this one. I was sceptical at first and thought it would be poo but the trailers look absolutely brilliant and I'm giddy with anticipation

Episode 1 was only half bad - basically any scene with Jar Jar should be deleted from existance along with most of the young Anakin ones. The fight scenes with Darth Maul were excellent - much better than any lightsaber battles in the original trilogy.

Officially starting to get excited now ep 7 tickets booked. Sod Christmas, Im counting down to Star Wars!

I'm pretty sure you're right here, anyone I know that saw them as a child loves them but anyone that tried watching them for the first time as an adult seems to see them in an entirely different light.

    Weirdo.

I will fast forward that scene where one of them gets straight up killed right in front of the camera. ****ing heartbreaking stuff.

It will make a nice change @ Christmas from all the usual dross that normally comes out.

Anything that as Harrison Ford in it is always a good watch. Han Solo and Chewy....... what a team. :emoticon-0103-cool:

This year has been crazy good for films. Avengers 2, Fast 7, Ant Man, Spectre, Star Wars and others you wouldn't expect like Crimson Peak which is pretty good too. Can't wait for next year
