    We can't really talk about selling things off and not bring up the Tories track record - can we?

    A bit like the games-master in the film Kes who wanted to be Bobby Charlton, Boris fancied himself as Jonah Lomu.

    There is one thing that cannot and must not be sold off at any price: our national pride.

    Labour and the liberal elite gave it a bloody good go, though, and must never be allowed near power again.

    I'm no Tory. UKIP is the future of this country.

    Getting back to the topic of the thread <whistle>, Franco has neatly summed up that the role of Charlton manager under Douche is the footballing version of a eunuch <applause>

    It is good to see that we have some late converts to the anti -Douche cause. In the erudite style for which he has become famous, Reams <ok> has started the following thread on ITTV titled....

    "Duchatelet you are a f*cking pr1ck"

    <cheers>

    He's such a hypocrite. After giving many of us here abuse for speaking, not quite as harsh and abrasive tone as that, somethings similar.

    Now - what would people say about Hasselbaink returning as manager? No inside info, just an interesting option who could be looking for a step up.

    Belgium - holland. Same thing.

    Roland doesn't want a manager, he wants a head coach, who will accept the rubbish that the Euro-scouts come up with. This rules out any decent manager.

    JFH would be mad to leave his throne at Burton. I can see him staying put until the end of the season and then, depending on where Burton finish, addressing his options. Who's to say we won't be passing Burton as they move up a level?

    Would instill some fight in the plAyers, but would also probably fight the players at some point!

    They certainly do, it's a real shame that our own Sir Alex doesn't possess any of the qualities that the real Fergie does, aka giving a good bollocking.

    "We hope he could be our Sir Alex" will deservedly take its place in the "All time Great Lexicon of Lies" alongside "Saddam has weapons of mass destruction" and "we are signing three players from Bournemouth".

    I don't see it either, but would prefer it. It didn't work as a player, but he is proving himself to being a very good manager.

    He's also a name. Players domestically and internationally would want to work for him. My choice after Curbs.
