I woulda done this first thing tomorrow morning but it'd be a sleepless night worrying about Kempton jumping in while I tossed and turned.
We're still lacking consistency and a clear formation/style of play. How much is Brucey and how much is under performing players is open to debate. Akpom comes on does okayish but he's been **** and was rightly dropped before. I've said it all season, I wouldnt have brought him in I'd put some faith in Luer and have him on the bench easing him into the team.
Players really arent playing well. Aluko seems to be wanted now to give more flair but he does well for 25 minutes and then he's just ****e.
Can Maloney play wide left in a 4? I dont know, but we need him too.

What we've lacked is a real leader of men. Someone to kick some of thems arses, to demand the ball and hold it not this knock it off easy to a CB bollocks.
From what I saw Dave did ok at LB, certainly better defensively than Robertson.
Is Elmo unsettled, is he sulking, did a deal fall through for him? I'd still play him as he's earned a lot of goodwill from me for his consistency.
If Ipswich play like a McCarthy team then they'll get stuck in, we really need to man up now.
Corners and free kicks, FFS keep Huddlestone away from them and as for that effort from Abel!!! Jesus christ.
Will he be tempted to go back to 3 at the back? I'd stick with 4 as 3 just lets Hudd hide even more.
Midfield should be fined ten grand for every time they lay it off rather than take responsibility and shoot. FACT
Any free kick that is gently/weakly curled over the wall ,ten grand fine. Knock the ****ing thing, proper run up not two yards and a dink.

    Greegsy

    Elmo Dawson Davies Dave

    Meyler Diame Jake Maloney

I agree with most of what you say Chazz however I think we need three centre backs as Lambo has said, so that the fullbacks, none of which we appear to have at the club, can play their natural game as wing backs.

As for Huddlestone, I wouldn't have him starting at all. He needs to develop some hunger and passion for the game or **** off for me!

Our problem is, we have such a good F'king good squad that everyone has their own idea of who should be playing! I think (hope) we might see a few changes tomorrow? 3-5-2 and start giving some teams a pasting:emoticon-0148-yes:

I can't see him having Maloney at wingback, unfortunately I can see him starting with Huddlestone.

Play Maloney out of position? I thought it was his turn.

Just go for the ****ers. We're at home. We're a good team. We can hammer anybody. Do it once & it'll become a regular occurrence.

On the rare occasions that we've started without Huddlestone we've looked an all round better balanced team and have moved the ball quicker. How long, if ever, will it take Bruce to realise that Huddlestone needs to slow the game down to a pace that he can maintain, and that by doing so he's stifling our attacking fluidity?

I would go with this, though I think though SB might play Huddlestone and maybe rest Diame.

Didn't you mean "started without Huddlestone" LBA.? If so I agree with you.

    MATCH FACTS
    • Hull are unbeaten in six league games against Ipswich (W4 D2), last losing against them in May 2008.
    • Ipswich have never kept a clean sheet in 15 league visits to Hull, conceding 31 goals in total.
    • Abel Hernandez has scored six goals in his last eight games for the Tigers, scoring in the last three consecutive games.
    • The Tractor Boys have failed to score in consecutive league games. They've not gone three without a goal since a run of five in February 2007.

It all worked out in the end and we had a great day at Wembley, but at the time that was a disappointing (but sunny) day. I remember going along feeling confident that we'd turn them over and Stoke might slip up to hand us second place, but we were pretty crap that day.

Can't argue with any of that - except 4-4-2. We generally look like a pile of freshly laid **** playing that formation. **** knows why? We have on paper the best pair of centre halves in this league - but 4-4-2 doesn't suit the rest of the team at all. Bruce needs to play 3-5-2 and give it a few games to settle in. We should be smashing this league, we really haven't played well yet and we're still within reach.

Suggestion: First, figure out which thread you're on.
Despite all the practice, you're still not very good at this, are you?
Please don't bother to cut-and-paste snippets from other posts to compose yet another epic response, begging to be "liked" by your faithful followers.
    The end.
