Im not sure about Walcott, hes doing very well, think he'll have one of his best seasons (until he get injured anyway )
... but more or less comes back to my overall point: Rooney ... been there, done that, hair weaved, too fat Sturridge ... too prone to sicknotes from matron Wellbeck ... ditto on sicknotes and not really prolific anyway Theo Walcott ... almost unplayable when on form but also inconsistent and prone to injury Harry Kane - who knows? - great last season but struggling now that defenders know him better Berahinho - a talent undoubtedly, but a team player? Ings - injured Wilson - injured Carroll - one dimensional sicknote Lambert - retired to pasture ... the ugly truth is that England do not have a dependable top notch (not thatch Wayne ... sit back down!) striker ... ... so why not give the speedy, agressive, injury resistant, runt with a goalscoring knack a fair go?
I think both Kane and Walcott will outscore Vardy, as will Rooney. Sturridge and Welbeck probably won't if they only play a handful of games. I should caveat that by saying that if Kane, Walcott and Rooney pick up season ending injuries then they will struggle to score goals.
... just to be clear - in domestic competitions ... and I'll just caveat that with if Vardy picks up a season ending injury he will struggle to score goals
Rodgers won last 3 against Spurs scoring lots of goals and not conceding any. Rodgers had the beating of poch
ooh nice spin ... wasn't it a handsome 12 domestically and 10 in the League i.e one more than Vardy has scored already this season?
Was only counting league goals, bit harsh to compare lukakus EL goals when Vardy hasn't played in it. Like for like comparison is much fajrer
Tobes doesn't like to compare like for like when t comes to lukaku as it makes his record seem pants wasn't even double figures in the league
He also doesn't like to think about whether their #recordsigning helped them to a better league position/points
What odds is he going to give me? I need three horses to finish first, second and third while he just needs his horse not to finish last.
On that basis I'm in. He wins and I pay a tenner to his charity, I win and he pays £30 to my charity.
Wrong again in was 10 in the league 12 domestically and 20 in total. Fosse was talking about domestic goals btw, Vardy got 5
