Changing avatar

Every single pic i try upload i keep getting a message saying the files too big??
Has anybody else had this problem??

 

Just use a picture of one of the young'uns, that should half the size of your file.

Are you trying to upload high res files e.g .png - you will find that .jpg tend to be smaller

 

No idea mate. Im useless with technology so thats a foreign language to me?

Here you go mate. Couple of things. 1. it was far too big 2. The file type was PNG which is the file type you use when you actually make the image. It's used to keep layers of an image in tact so in essence it wasn't one picture, it was multiple images sandwiched together which keeps the file size massive, to big to use as an avatar, by changing it to a JPEG(.jpg) file, you merge it into one image which reduces the file size, combined with reducing the actual size will make it adequate to use as an avatar. Try this.

iPhone? Don't screen shot, just hold your finger down on the picture for a few seconds and when presented with the option press 'save picture'.

That way you don't get the black lines on each side.

Can we just avoid the whole Android vs iSheep argument, they're really ****ing tedious.

I think we should just all agree that no mobile phone is particularly good. A Ferrari La Ferrari is good, Rooney's overhead kick to win the derby was good, Kate Upton's tits are good, a £500 piece of plastic that shows facebook, but smaller, is just boring.
