I think a point away from home against a decent Wednesday side is a pretty good return.

How can Akpom be given offside when Turner kicked the ball to him?
I thought we have been moving the ball forward quicker in the more recent matches.

Well, we're certainly not peaking early, but we're only two points off second place. Beat Ipswich on Tuesday, keep harvesting the points and we can up the ante later.

Given your point that he is scoring goals but not a strong enough presence, I don't get how we cant fit him and Diomande in team at same time if Diomande really is more of a physical presence. Isn't your point that we need 2 strikers - look what a difference it made when we gave him some help in the second half yesterday. The whole team seemed to play further forward when we got Akpom on the pitch.

    Whats new ?

Bruce sets the team up not to conceed, but **** happens and then what ? No plan B,that's been going on for months and its a typical old school centre half mentality. The players we still have should be taking this ****ing league apart, not pissing around over playing it in the middle of the park. The balance of the side is usually wrong, deliberately picked to keep it tight with the mindset before kick off to nick a goal and defend it. Bruce has blown money and been given a free reign because those who pay him know ****all about the game. In short,Bruce should have gone in the summer, any other club worth its salt would have done exactly that.

The reason I said about fitting them in was that when we play a flat midfield four we look absolutely hopeless. I suppose they'd fit in a 352 but then I don't think that'd get the best out of our other players.

I'd go with yesterday's formation but put Aluko on the right instead of Clucas. I don't mind have any problem with Clucas but he clearly isn't an attacking, creative player so let's have someone who is.

Clucas gives us balance to the team, you will find if he is left out we will be even slower and more pedestrian without his legs. Brucey needs a check up from the neck up to realise that either play Diame or Huddlestone not both, it's so simple where we are falling down. I don't agree with your comments about Hernandez and I think the strikers are the least of our worries, it's the midfield just like last season and this is a massive failing of Bruce and the coaching staff not sorting it out coming up to December!

What Clucas brings to the team is keeping hold of the ball while going absolutely nowhere.

We need to start attacking teams and he's not the player to do it, neither is Huddlestone.

We will see the best of Clucas without Huddlestone, Aluko won't share his workload which leaves Robertson or Clucas for the position so for me it's between them for that spot and Clucas is the better footballer. Hell will freeze over before Bruce drops Huddlestone so Clucas is shafted

neither Huddlestone nor Hernandez should ever take another free kick - kicking the ball into the wall or passing it to the keeper is a ****ing waste of good opportunity - **** knows what they do in training although I remain to be convinced that we do any training

That win for Derby pushes us out of the top 6. If I was Bruce, I would be using the next few games as an opportunity to really try and establish ourselves in those top 6 places. The longer we are out of the top 6, the more the pressure will build.

I thought Abel Hernandez did well yesterday. It's very hard to make a judgment on the team as our manager is floundering about in his inability to drop players, play 3-5-2 and win games convincingly.

I know you're not serious, but a question I have is, does Pennock take charge of all the kids sides? Or is it just the U21 side he really "manages?"
