Once the error had been detected, post [HASHTAG]#462[/HASHTAG] went up with instructions on what posters before and after the adjustments to fixtures should do.
It's everyone's responsibility to follow the instructions. You didn't - you edited your original post. Tickles made a mistake - many have done the same in the past. Countless times I have asked that the first poster after the first appearance of a new week's fixtures should
validate accuracy of the fixtures set up against Ricardo's Rules (first entry on this thread),
particularly the kick-off time restrictions on fixtures. That is intended to prevent the sort of mess that has occurred this time. It seems this suggested early audit is being bi-passed all the time.
The vast majority of punters understood post [HASHTAG]#462[/HASHTAG]. I
do not enter individual poster's predictions at a match level, but have to rely on not606's time-stamps to validate posters submissions against the prediction thread rules.
You lost out unfortunately - not Tickler's fault as you clearly read post [HASHTAG]#462[/HASHTAG], yet edited your original submission, for which I have no record.
Obviously when results of matches are known, predictions can't be accepted. Multiple posts by the same individual are also not accepted, the first post is used providing they have not been edited in anyway that they violate the established rules - critically the time of submission (or final "edited" time-stamp.
Tickler will
not be penalized any points. Feel free to take the piss out of him mind
If people read the rules & followed them all of this crap could be avoided. Caveat emptor
Long winded I realize. But it's my wasted time.
