Ireland weakness turned out to be the outside backs.

    Well played Argentina.

Well done the barmy Argies. Deserved win and Ireland's Q/F curse continues.

There's a message not to one nation but to the Northern Hemisphere as a whole.

You need leaders, you need a back row that clears the ball at speed, and you need depth.

You cannot carry passengers at this level.

Gutted for Ireland but we have all taken a right old lesson.

Assuming you beat Scotland (you will) Argentina probably don't seem as easy a semi-final as it looked yesterday. They've ripped us a new one here <yikes>

Chances are that if we beat the Scots, Argentina may just have left their best here.

Beef, my God did you miss o'connell and o'brien today. Argies are an awkward set of ****s who chanced their arm against a weakened Ireland.

Australia will stand for none of this **** next week. Aussies by 15+ tonight and next week. Leagues apart.

We missed leaders today for sure. I stated during the week that small O'Connell wouldn't be as big a loss but sadly he was and O'Mahoney and O'Brien. Credit the Pumas though, deserved win.

STH, I don't think Australia will be thinking about sending the Kiwis a message. It'll be all about getting a win.

Only time a message to the Kiwis is needed is in the final. Just do whatever is required until then

I think Sexton was the main one Toppy, Madigan had a really good game last when coming on, but he was like a cat in the headlights tonight and he missed a few kick able pens. Overall just not good enough. Argentina impressed the life of me against the All Blacks in their first game. I tell you, if the handicap is 15 pts against the Aussies, I'll be playing Argentina! I'd guess it to be around 10 pts.

Good grief, goes from bad to worse, looks very much like Southern Hemisphere 4 - Northern Hemisphere 0. So much for Rugby Union in these parts for the time being. However, remaining games should be absolute crackers. Yes, time for a good cuppa Yorkshire tea.

Yes Jonny was missed tonight I should have listed him but was typing too quickly.

Leadership and calm in the key areas was missing I think. Those Argies are a proper bunch of spoilers aren't they. Awkward enough to cause NH teams havoc but nowhere near Aussie and Kiwi standard

For the most part, Southern football is played on fast tracks. It helps heaps.

The Kiwis sent a pretty big one out last night. The psychology of that performance will put fear Into opponents before a ball is kicked. Never under estimate what effect the psychology of a big win has on your future opponents. Some teams are beaten before they enter the pitch.
