Why wasn't Ings in the squad today? My sister has a picture with him today at Burnley v Bolton.

    Anything gone on?

Usually players are still expected to attend games in club attire. At least at United that's how it works.

Says a lot that he chose to go back to Burnley than watch your new managers first game tbh.

Its a strange one. Wasn't actually aware he was injured tbh bit still, its normal for a player to be there still.

I suppose he could have been at WHL and travelled up on a private jet or helicopter to catch the Burnley game. He sat right on the crown too, 2 seats behind my sister and her partner.

Maybe he went home to spend time with his family after a very serious career damaging injury, and then while he was there went to see his former boyhood team play. Just a thought, like.

Not having a dig, just literally got the photo and wondered if something had happened.

Turns out it had, he suffered an injury and will be out long-term. No laughing matter and not something to joke about.

He still belongs to Burnley at the moment, there hasn't even been a fee agreed yet for his transfer <ok>

Don't Liverpool owe Burnley £10 million now as Roy gave ings his debut?

It looked like our defense was uncomfortable with it at first but grew into it over the course of the game.

Could be as much as £12m according to some, would be fair as well because he has proved to be one of there best players this season.

Skrtel was the only one who looked uncomfortable, which is as per normal.

Clyne and Moreno provide a lot of pace and energy, and Sakho is just a beast.

Yep, just hit the big time and proving he is more than good enough to be there. He has age on his side with the injury but could find it hard to get over the psychological effects. Great shame for the lad, I hope he puts it behind him quickly and goes on to be even better.

I would have taken him in the summer over Austin if we went for either.

Could be worse. My sister claims to support Liverpool and Man Utd. She has a soft spot for Arsenal too because she's dating an Arsenal fan.

I've told her she might as well support City and Chelsea too to cover all bases.
