3-0. Easy pickings now. Small deflection for Ramsey's goal, but the pace and power of Bellerin is incredible. What a vital player the right-back is for us.
These are the kind of games we wouldve drew last season. We're finally getting more gritty as a team. I haven't said this since 08 but I really fancy us to challenge for the title this season.
Good game and nice to get 3 points and +3 to the GD. Matched them in the first half and just tired them out in the 2nd before blitzing them and controlling it. Once we got in front it broke their spirits and from there it was professionally seen out. Toughest test of the season on Wednesday but we've beaten Bayern before we're going to have to do it again.
Well played chaps. Half expected you to buckle after last time out as was so often the case on years gone by but you did the job. Maybe, just maybe this is a different Arsenal side. If we can just push City out of the way, we could have the best PL race in over a decade
Everton next Saturday 17:30, and confident seeing as you lot don't play til Sunday, thus the top of the league comment
Good to see us play with grit and get an away result against a solid team. But i'm enjoying some vintage Arsenal moves, getting the ball from one end to the other in lightening fashion. If we keep this going until Christmas, then we're in for a shout for the title.
Also seems like we've found or groove. Matching the opponents for large bits of the game to tire them out, then a blitz in 10-15 minutes before controlling the rest of the game to see it off. Not saying its the same quality team but reminds me of the Invincibles days where we'd end a team in 20 minutes then just play around them for the rest of the game. And with the formation and our players all hitting their groove now, things are looking up. Also could someone find me Giroud's stats from off the bench? They must be phenomenal
Thinking you had "ended" a team after 20 mins probably explains why you drew almost a third of the games. Teams have won the league with a much higher win percentage
